Hey Scott, how are you doing.
Dirla, you got all the carpet track one man could possible want in your backyard. Seriously gentlemen, if you want to try your hand at 1/12 you have to make a trip to Thunder Raceway in Nashville. Dirla will hook you up, and then take you out.jk. Sorry Dirla, I couldn't resist.
I walked the Performance site in Louisville today. The space availible for actual track space is huge, and has enough fill dirt hauled in that it is actually several feet higher than the existing field. It will not be difficult to construct the track so that it drains well. All I can tell at this point is that it is being designed with both Short Course trucks, and 1/8 scale cars in mind. As you know, the ideal short course track would be boring for an 1/8 buggy, and a track that would push a 1/8 buggy would overwelm the short course truck, so we will to make a few compromises to accomidate both. We have a few ideas to try and make the track fun for everyone and still have good "flow" for both classes.

James doing good.
Those were the days when the Dark Side used to come up here and visit.
Just wish we still had a track for 12th scale. Been so long I don't know if I remember how to turn left and right.
Looking at possibly running some off road. But for me to run it will have to be electric. No gas for me. Have a X-ray XB8 that could be converted.

I don't think I could even get a 1/12 car around the track anymore. I stopped in at Dirla's track a few years ago after all I had been running was 1/8 offroad and Dirla handed me his transmitter to his 1/12 car during a practice session....I learned two things. 1) I had completely forgotten how to drive and 2) Dirla is more content with an absolutely jacked up car than I am. Dirla actually made the car that hooked one way and pushed the other look good!
