I must admit that I thought rubber could not be any fun, but have changed my mind this year. Its really not too bad. The heat is a pain, but once you learn to setup for it... its survivable.

Your getting scared... you should try wheeling that beast around the track

Its been good fun this summer. I wish there were more racers, but apathy/lack of funds seems to be a regional disease this summer.

I've started running oval with Lee and Scott Ricker this summer. It helps fill the voids. I am having a blast. It's the same as running on road just not right turns!

holy $%#@ i can't believe what i'm reading about rubber tires! everyone flamed me when i was the lone rubber tire hold out, nobody in GA would even admitt they ever ran a rubber tire or even ever saw one. fernando wanted the tristate all foam. knoxville went all foam and i was crying, poeple said "really drivers run foam, rubber is for beginner". please hold while i pick my jaw up from the floor!

i guess since everyone has thrown their old rubber tires away it's time to change the rules & everyone can buy more tires! glad i kept mine. next it'll be the whole "take-off's & sorex's are only good for 4 runs, they still look fine but don't have any traction left". i've heard it all

i ain't bitchen though, i like rubber tires

Foam tires = Carpet racing

Rubber tires = Asphalt
