typical, the boss says " sell'em pete, sell'em to the limeys!!!" and now he moans about it...

ok quick report from the UK stock national today at our WLRC track.

Wet start but blazing sunshine for the rest ofthe day.

Several Guys running the full throttle Monsters, with good results....and some only not getting great results due to the car or the other mobile obstacles on the track.

ok, Myself and Ed had a bad day, both in the D so ill skip that quickly (cars where fast, thumbs not so fast), C Final win from Remo, B final win from Dan and a 3rd from Matt Digby and 8th from Glen westwood.

Overall a good day, sold nearly all those motors Bill, so once money is banked...Ill need more :P

on the subject of batteries, we had some of those new cells, the new owner had issues with false peaking.

He charged at 6 amp with 5mvpc cut off....only got 6 laps .....those laps where damn quick mind you.

Im here cycling them now....no apparent issues they charge up ok... ill check his charger next....was probably not set correctly......if thats ok then its the user, so will take a piece of 2by4 to him

TC5 spool is available from Titanium Racing in the UK.. nice piece fo kit too.

ok motor tuning....over this weekend we did some serious experiments...
found this combo to be great.

monster motor, but sure it will work for co27, xstock and roar too.
f lines or XXX lemans, green +ve and Green -Ve...... RAPID AS HELL..

on much more dyno motor checker thing - this combo once run in reaches 36K rpm with an amp draw of 7-9 amps. @ 7.2v

anyways i tthink thats enough waffle.

Bill will email u about some stuff soon

Pete

ps. Kahuna did that trick work with the 540 silver can?

Was that his first run with the pack? Because with IB4200WC cells, they take about 3-5 cycles to get them running at thier full potential when they are new. Also, I use a 6mv/c cut off on my Duratrax Ice. If it is a pack that has been sitting for a week, I normally get anywhere from 2000mah-4000mah on the first charge. The packs really come to life on the second and third charge, at about 4500mah.

Also, Bill, what brush would you suggest using for an extremely small indoor carpet track for 1/12th scale? I don't need an extreme amount of torque, because of my driving style, setup and track, just alot of RPMs with decent torque. I liked the F-brushes best compared to the E-brush and 767 brushes. I just want to see how the 4499, Bill's H.S., and Bill's Secret brushes compare. I might just buy all of them for an experiment.
