Hey Bill, just checkin in. Went to Vineland last night an ran all 3 electric classes. Thanks again for the power, all three of my vehicles were freakin rockets! Anyone who hasnt tried any of Bills Shock2 based motors for offroad needs to, awesome power band and low maintenence. I didnt even take em out of my cars all night for cuts or anything even my 4wd after practicing and all night racing which is unbelievable in a xx4.

I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I'd just give a little shoutout! I've been running nitro buggies and sedans all summer, so I haven't even looked at my electric stuff until recently!

However, I am looking forward to running my stuff again starting in September! My FT IBs are still in excellent shape and taking 4600 in capacity! I've had them since early spring! And my blueprinted FT C027 is still very fast! It's making some very impressive numbers!

And a little note, I've dropped my RDX for the season and will be running a Factory Team TC5 this winter. Just built it and I must say, it looks like it's going to rock! And the blue colour scheme on the chassis suits all my nice, shiny blue Full Throttle gear!

Can't wait to represent Full Throttle again for this indoor season!

Not only did it scare the hell out of me, but I have a huge rash on my left arm from the battery acid when it sprayed everywhere. Going to see a doctor tomorrow. Why would you put the battery in a trash can in the middle of the pit area?? When I heard the first battery blow-up I was on the driver's stand. The shrapnel from battery landed on the track which was about 20 to 30 yards away. At 2 of the last 3 events I've attended batteries have blown up in the pits. Seems like IB should do some better quality control. When you think about it it's kinda scary that we have these batteries charging right next to us in our pit area.

well i have been around for years and never had batteries blow up
the drivers that dont seem to watch the temps on there
packs or running more then one class it hard to keep a eye out on them . but you guys need to watch

how you charge packs

hope this helps

in hot weather your peak detect should be no highter then .02 charge at
6amps,now there is some times that you are fighting time and bump to a higher
amp charge but you should never leve the packs alone in your pits

in cooler weather stick with .03 detect this should help if you dont already know

but most of the time racers forget how they leve there chargers set up

so rule is check you chargers like you check you set ups on a car and your packs will last
longer and things will be more safer

Greg hope you are ok

bill

Greg I forget who put the batts in the trash can but I put it can under my pit. Then someone took the can knowning the cells were in there.
