In case no one saw this, I found it funny. In the new issue of XRC, on page 135 it has a picture of Mr. Mike Haynes' plain yellow touring car from the magma race, it had a nice little artical about one color paint schemes. just thought you guys would like to check it out so you can bust on Mike. . Good luck at the nats Mike, and get a body painted!!!

Yesturday was the opening round of the JBRL series. I raced Mod 4wd, Mod 2wd and 19t 2wd. Just to give you an idea of the compitition Ryan Cavalieri was there along with, Joe Pillars from Orion, Ronnie Gardner from Losi/Orion, Jared Graf from Losi/Trinity, the Wachter brothers from Losi/Checkpoint, and Josh Neuman from AE/Checkpoint, Mike Truhe from Losi/Novak and Frank Root from Xfactory/Orion along with 250 other people. There were 4 heats of 4wd, 3 heats of 19t, and 3 heats of mod 2wd. My first round of mod i was in second behind Mike Truhe of Losi/Novak, RC was in my heat but broke. I broke while in second and broke in my second qual too, lets just say 4wd was not a good day for me. My first heat of 19t i had a LOT of motor but had a problem with my car, ended up 5th in my heat and in the B. My second qual i still had a lot of motor even though I geared down and ended up qualifing 9th in the main, last except for the Bump up. In mod my car felt a lot better but i was just off the pace. Quald 1st in the C and bumped into the B. Missed the bump from the B because of a really bad start and because there were some factory guys in the B main. In the 19t main a guy didnt go on the tone and i ran into him which slowed me down alot. I started to catch people when the leaders came around to lap me which slowed me down. I think i ended up 7th or 8th at the end of the race. right after i crossed the finish line I jumped this big jump that none of the guys were doing in 19t and made it easily even with a not fully charged pack. All in all it was a good day for 19t and i guess even mod.
