Good job on the podium finishes guys!
I spent 5 hours at the track today with a couple of buggy drivers to practice tight lines to hold 'em off and we did a lot of passing practice. Also they reversed the track so that made it interesting too!
I ran my CO27 for a couple of packs and then went to the P2K that I built last week and the P2K was WAY faster overall. I'll be racing that come Friday night.

JB, when you run a co27, don't be afriad to gear it higher then you would think. You were likely a few teeth lower then optimal.

I geared it like my P2k... I've tried 17 to 20 on the CO. It gets a lot hotter than my P2K also. I guess I'll try even higher.

I have not run a p2k2 in a long time, but i would think they should be around 3 to 4 teeth apart.

Hey John, I would start out the CO27 in a buggy around 24/78 for a 2.4 losi and 25/78 for a 2.6 losi or B4. For truck I would start 2 teeth lower for both. I think that you are probably spinning the motor up way to quick. Try gearing up next time you practice and see what happens. I remember for our handout blue endbell motors we always ran 24/78 so you should be able to run the same. I would also try 767's with a red and green spring. Just make sure that you are not getting alot of "brush bounce" from the lighter spring....if you are go to reds all the way around.

Thanks Bob,

So you are saying that 23 teeth is what I should try on my MF2? I'll try it in practice at the next race but it sure sounds high...
