Hi , just wanted to share my experience. I was running another well known brand and got the tip that this is the motor to run that can compete against Trinity team spec motors for much less.

Well I ran my TC on carpet in 17.5 with the 21.5 motor. I qualified 2nd with the 21.5 lol. Maybe my TC was setup right and I knew how to drive better but it definitely had the rip just not that teensy bit more that a 17.5 has. Now I'm going with the 17.5 v21 motor this weekend, I'm stupid excited.

If you need something that is fast in the meanwhile, grab the new trinity team spec 25.5, it's good. Woke my VTA up big time.
carkillaii and KUI like this.

Does the new v21 25.5 come with the aligned sensor for the $150 price tag like the other v21 motors at the same price?

Can anybody tell me what the difference between R1 wurks’ fan shrouds for the B6.1 laydown and B6.1 are? The B6.1 comes stock with the lay down, the B6.1 D has the layback (shorter) transmission.

Does the shroud work with the B6.1D “layback”?

I can tell you from seeing my buddy run a R1 21.5 with the aligned sensors that it is a fast motor. It did take a minor tweak in timing. It was within 2 degrees for each sensor on an analyzer. It was smoking fast on carpet in USGT.

Default R1 V21 rpm rotor

Have anyone tested V21 12.3mm RPM rotor? I race a touring car with V21 13.5 T and my motor has too much punch! Race on a small indoor track.Esc in blinky(R1 Digital-2)Power level 1.Drive frequency 64.Fdr=4.75.Timing 40 on endbel.

I have no experience with the 13.5T or the 12.3 rotor. But you could try playing with radio settings since it appears you have the highest drive frequency and the lowest power level. For instance if you have an airtronics radio you could look into the throttle EXPO. Increasing the timing on the motor should decrease torque and bigger pinion also, but you would have to increase slowly on both and check temperature. You could also try under charging your battery like a lot of mod guys do. In the near future I plan to try out a 13.5T V21 on a rather large track, will be interesting to see the torque you are experiencing.

I have tryed expo (-15) on throtle om my Sanwa radio but then it was a deadpoint on throtle.Have tryed FDR 4.6 but then i must go down to 37-38 in timing so temperature dont get too high. The car then get lazy and i dont like it.I wil try FDR 5.0-5.2 tomorrow and increase timimg, maybe i get less torque and more rpm and still contain topspeed.
