Some more info would be good,
- What class was it. On or off-road? What turn?
- what gearing and timing did you use?

Before you go and have a outburst share some more info first 👍
Perhaps it's not best to try and lecture someone on outbursts then call them a "Crap driver" in the same sentence.

Just a thought

Took my new R1 v21 17.5t for a run at the closest 'big' track this past Sunday. Difficult to guage the speed as there was only 1 other car running 17.5, everyone else was running 13.5 or faster. The times I was running by the end of the day would have put me in the A-final at last year's clubman national!
Motor was coming off fairly warm (over 60C on can) at 50 can timing (probably 48 actual timing) but it was a warm day.
Very happy with the pace. The v21 has an awesome sound that I've never heard from any other motor - it's like a jet fighter roaring past.

Looking for starting FDR recommendations. Running new V21 21.5 in USGT, 40x80 track, usually technical layout.

4.5 FDR and 40* timing would be a good place to start

I suppose its possible, but my TSR's have all been within 1 degree, and my Monster Max's have had a 2-3 degrees swing at most
