Yep. Out of the ten cars in the race the top three were within .1sec for fast lap, and he had the second fastest lap time.

If those numbers are spot on its not a game changer, it's a game owner.

What did you use to test this?? Minipro or MC2 Dyno?? How did you set the timing on each one?? to 6A or to max efficiency??

I know this is the motor section but does anyone know the intended application of this battery pack. I know typically 6000ish for mod, 8000ish for stock but this is 10,000 and only 50C?

Probably good for stock too. I'll bet they hold voltage a lot longer.

Using a Mini Pro dyno, Zombie 8200mah pack repeaked before each run. Timing set to the point I feel is optimal (where any further advancement of timing increases amp draw disproportionately to rpm), sorry I think the Nick Adams 6A method is cute, but assumes all motors are equal and behave equally, which they don't.

Thanks for the answers nexxus!!

Can you tell us the timing at this point of each of the motors??

also, did you have to purchase a license for Minipro dyno to be able to export it to that software?

You need to purchase RC Crew Chief which can import Mini Pro dyno files.

As for individual timing on the motors, it varied motor to motor but generally between 45-50 on the newer motors, certainly not above 50. That is actual timing on a motolyser, not what the endbell or the skyrc analyser says.

While I don't fault your method, I can't really tell from that graph if it's an improvement over the motors currently run around here (mostly R1 v16 and Monster Max) as they're not in the comparison.
