I was expecting a better split. Is this acceptable or should i be looking to get a replacement board.

i wouldn’t trust the timing spread readings on the skyrc style checkers.

Motolyser is more accurate - it runs the test in sensorless mode to ensure a more accurate reading.

I've heard this before but I get consistent readings like that on one of my motors with the same type of spread. At the same time I get very close readings.......consistently.....with other motors. If indeed I shouldn't trust numbers from the skyrc checkers then why are the numbers the same every time I test my motors?
gigaplex likes this.

You're not alone. I have three R1 motors and two new sensor boards. All are off by at least 5 degrees some as much as 9 degrees. Motors are still fast but I wonder how much faster they would be with better sensor boards.

They probably wouldn't be any faster but might be a little bit more efficient (less heat).

At low rpms both 113-114 the motor cogs for a mm or 2mm of throttle input
0-1/4 throttle fine just after cog then gone the rest of the way.
The other mod programs seem to be fine...

Are you running it with a mod motor, or in 17.5? Whats your motor timing set at? What transmitter do you use? What neutral % is the speed control set at? Which mod program still worked for you? What make of motor?

just curious if you have switched the wires around on the checker, still keeping them in order but different color for A-B-C and what about solder on the tabs, as I have the skyrc one and have found that by changing the wires it changes the readings, but to me it's just a reference number so I can compare the differences

Contact the support at the above email with your info and they will work with you, you can even call them at 949 353 5566. They don't come on here often, so a direct contact is your best bet in getting the issue rectified.

I have a new V16 21.5 with the standard rotor in it. What should I set my timing at?
