not worried but this is a tuning option for many racers. The days of dropping in a motor and winning our gone. For such a great motor this would make the r1 motor that much better. Just my 2 cents.

Like Hanulec said... They run hard out of the box... Chassis setup is key

http://r1wurks.com/v11-motor-parts/8...sor-board.html Here Rick see if this helps. Does anyone know if the V11 17.5 comes with the 12.3 or 12.5 rotor?

Anyone having trouble checking out on their website? Looking for the 13.5 v11, which is out of stock at tqrcracing. Sent an email to R1 but no response, their customer service seems like crap from what I've read on here.

I have read the entire thread and see no evidence for your complaint. I have communicated with R1 Wurks on Facebook and had quick response. Doing motors for the competition and enjoyment would be my guess, probably has fingers in more than one pie, and I love pie

Thanks guys. I ended up getting one direct from R1. There was a different thread where it mentioned they've stopped responding to emails, but it's good to know they've got good communication through FB. I certainly don't blame them for spending time on R&D or other more vital tasks either. I'm excited to get this motor.

Hi all. I recently overtemped by brand new 13.5 V7. Everything seems to be okay except the windings which have partially melted the epoxy on one of the loops. I can see R1 sells replacement 17.5 stators, but does anyone know where to get a replacement 13.5 stator?
