A couple of nice guys ! You will get great service and great prices. They have the IP3800's now. Just got some packs myself. A lot of the oval guys run them here and have had great success with them. Once a few more of the on-road guys start using them I think they will be a big hit. Brian and Duane can tune a motor also. I think they will be offering them soon on their web site.

KT, Brandon and Tag thanks for the kind words. I repect you guys at Express a lot.

I have been getting a lot of E-mails on how to take care of the IP cells that we are now offering on our site. I thought I would post what we have learned and the maintenace Guide from Andre at IP.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
IP3800 Maintenance Guide:

Here is what we have found to work best in stock/19T and also in modified racing:

STOCK/19T: (Maximum voltage)

1. Equalize your IP3800 pack on the Novak Smart Tray down to 0.9V per cell.

2. Charge with a linear 6 Amp charge. Peak Detect. (Voltage threshold) :
6 cell packs : 0.05 V (50mV)
4 cell packs : 0.03 V (30mV)

For maximum performance, try to get your pack to peak just before your race. Repeak with the same settings if the pack has been sitting for more than 15 minutes. If your pack peaked less than 15 minutes before your race, you may repeak with a lower peak detect (0.01V)

3. Discharge: After the race, discharge the pack at 30 Amps down to 5.40 V for 6 cell pack and 3.60V for a 4 cell pack.

4. Storage: Let the pack like this for storage. Do not tray after the race. For stock/19T, 2 runs per day is fine with a minimum of 4 hours between runs.

MODIFIED : (to keep the MAXIMUM of runtime)

1. Discharge your pack at 30 Amps down to 5.40 V for 6 cell and 3.60V for a 4 cell.

2. Equalize your IP3800 pack on the Novak Smart Tray down to 0.9V per cell.

3. Charge with a linear 6 Amp charge. A 5 Amp charge would give you slightly more runtime.

4. Discharge: After the race, discharge the pack at 30 Amps down to 5.40 V for 6 cell pack and 3.60V for a 4 cell pack.

5. Storage: Leave your pack cool down and then put approx. 1000mAh of charge (600 seconds at 6A) back into the pack before storage. This is for a storage period of one week. Add 1000mAh for each additionnal week of storage.

*Please note that the IP3800 do not like to be trayed below 0.9 V per cell, you will hurt the runtime if this happen. So you should not use the 0-30 A Integy tray or any other tray that discharge below 0.9V per cell.

Brian and Duane at Rc Professor know their stuff. I've used there batteries for about 9 months now and never once have I been underpowered. They have great prices, innovative products, and they run a very professional operation.

Just to let everone know we have a new shippment of the IP3800 cells in house and are in the process of cycling all the cells before we start matching.
We went threw the last batch of cells very fast ....... Thanks to all for your support. These cells will be once again available on the website by mid week.

These cells have proven to be very strong in oval and on-road. rcprofessor cells TQ'd and won in 3 classes last weekend at the Carolina R/C complex.

We will have our motors on the website as soon as we receive our motor labels.
