First of all I have to thank J-P for giving this product a big push for me in the direction it has gone. and would not have launched the way it has over the last few months. He has put a lot of potential custom my way and I thank him very much for this . He tried to get a thread started with this Cool-Can-Fan product months ago but did not seem to take off until now, maybe its becuase over 600 kits have been sold to date all around the world.
Sometimes you come up with something that you see might work in a different guise, this is how the CCF started by watching one of my mates from racing on a friday night Phil (The Bling) Barry, (THIS WAS ABOUT 18 MONTHS AGO) he removed a fan which was in his blue foam TC3 stand and stuck it into the chassis pointing at the end of the motor, mmm I thought, there's an idea to improve upon. So made me a carbon fibre bracket for my XXX-S garphite. The first time I used it was at Carpet Wars near Colin from CS Racing and received a very interesting response. And as they say 'The rest is history'
Now CS Racing comes in to it, Colin (vodka and tonic man)
has been a major part in distributing these CCF's for me for the last few months. Again it would have not moved the way it has, if it weren't the respect that guy has within the RC world and the knowledge he has to go with it. He has felt that it is time for me to go it alone as the CCF's are a home branded name it seems. I am thanking him as well as Simon for what they have done for me and the product. It does not mean that CS Racing will not give you the assistance that you may need in this product as I know they would be more than willing to assist.
Also last but not least, a BIG thanks to Steve (The Rain Man) Lissamore for building the www.coolcanfan.com web site which I still owe him for

I felt it was the right time to say these thankyou's, as there are so many people behind this to thank. I thank also the top and and not so top drivers for giving the product the BIG thumbs up.

That guy did ask me about the RC Lab, but told him unless I can have a car to pattern upto then im up against it. I said to him that i WOULD DO ONE foc IF HE WAS TO LEND ME THE CAR OR A CHASSIS TO PATTERN TO. Sorry about the caps lock but could not be bothered to write that again again again again again again

Any chance I can just get a mount without the fans...I already have two prewired fans that I don't want to get rid of.

It will be the two fan model for the BD. I emailed but forgot to ask that question...

Shookie, there are many sizes of fans available, the ones that came on the mount are pretty small, and I have 2 different size fans already and neither one would fit this fan mount. Best to get the fans that come with the mount. At least you know they will fit.

OK OK I just am havign a heck of a time forking out $55.00 for a couple of fans and peice of Carbon FIber......Yea I am cheap....LOL

I wiil put your mind at rest as you dont only get the dedicated genuine carbon fibre braket with 2, 25x25x6mm fans that rev at 11,000 rpm each and also the stainless M3 countersunk socket screws, aluminum colors to raise it above the motor to a minium to keep the C,O,G, down without losing its performance , you have also got all the knowledge that I have pains takingly been working out all the shapes of these C,C,F.'s permutations and that they had been tried and tested, and of and peace of mind that it fits perfectly (ask PoP's)
Now thats got to be worth the bucks

You know you make a tempting offer but I just realized that I can not use your mount and continue to use my Much More motor coolers...So I will have to wait until you make one that lays down.....Thanks again...You know the BD has a nice counter sunk hole right next to the motor...great place for a fan mount....hint hint....

Ok I can see where your coming from with regards to the Much More Gadget Shookie, But with the C L-CAN-FAN it works before, while, and after you have raced. Take this senario, You guy's in the US have some real hot weather to contend (we do from time to time ) with especially on ashfelt, your sitting there on the grid with your motor cold from the Much More thingy, and is becoming cooler by the second, but with the C L-CAN-FAN, the heat is being blown away via the dual fans that turn at 11,000 rpm (it has been proven especially if theres has been a prob a race control and your just sitting there BURNING up) the fans will continue blowing throughtout your race, and if you have wired them directly to to cells, will get you motor cool by the time you have finished marsahaling. So there shookie there is a GREAT reason for purchasing this product from us, and maybe, just maybe work in conjuncton with the Much More Cooler
