Because of the motor position when mounted into the 007, the cooling vents on the kan are inline with the chassic (side to side rather then top and bottom) so I have the one over the kan blowing and the one over the end bell sucking. This seems to work ok.

I have the one on the can sucking and the one on the endbell blowing. Make sure you space the fan away from the mount if you flip it over to suck, on mine i was breaking blades off because they hit the mount in a crash. I've spaced it up about 1mm and its fine now.

Yes its true. But if you concentrate real hard and don't look down, alls good. And generally you don't end up with a big mess after 5 minutes.

Just started striping the 007 down to flush all them bearings. Should go even faster next time.

I'm coming for ya rob and I'm bring dion with me.

Rob are you flipping the mount over or the fan itself ?

Its just the fan you flip, but as Rob says, space it away from the mount about 1mm as the blades touch the opening of the mount IF you have a woopsy
Cheers Malc TCCFM

When you flip the fan and space it up from the mount remember that you'll need to file the spacers down so the fan doesnt hit them aswell.
It'll become clear when you have a look at your fan what hits where.

No problems on my car. But I've only driven the weapon 4 times now and when I stripped it down, all the bearings spun freely with no friction. Since the rebuild, the car has become even free'er so its a worthwild effort.
