p.s. I need to enroll for the school " 1/12th scale for Dumies" Dirla surely isn't an instructor is he??????????????????????
Bean,

I'll let you try out a couple of mod motors to see what you like first that way you don't waste money.

I'm already practicing by myself LOL I was there tues and thurs, but the track is a little bumpy till we restretch it. Gotta run a mil higher or so than normal. No big deal the track had good grip with the right tires I ran mod last night and had a blast.

As for stocks no problem. Let me know and I can bring the dyno to the track on practice night and we can wrench on them a little.

ah 12th scale is easy. I'll get you a starting point and help you get the basics down. You'll be lapping me in no time

I'd like to thank my Thunder RC drivers for placing well this weekend.

We finished 1,2,3 in mod truck and 1,2 in stock truck this weekend

I TQ'd in mod truck, but let's just say the start was a little bit messy LOL
I had to come from the back to get 2nd.

Team driver Scott Fuller took home 1st, I finished 2nd, and Dan Reino finished 3rd. I believe we all had the lead at some point and stayed within 2 or 3 corners for most of the race.

It was a pretty good race for the most part.

Lee Ricker used Team ThurderRC IB3800's last night to win the 128 lap endurance race at the D.R. Findley Memorial race. He was the only one left running after 128 laps.

Here's a thought. Rosewood RC is having a trophy race on Sept 17, asphalt race. I know some of you guys are going to vegas the week after, but if you can make it, it will be highly competitive. There are some fast MD and VA guys that will be down. Let me know if your interested at all, if so I can get ya more details.

Brandon... I'm actually flying out the same day to go to Vegas... I'm taking my mother and my bro to AZ to visit relatives and then driving back to vegas for the race.

Sorry I can't make it. Let us know if you guys have any big carpet races this winter...

Thanks

Michael
