Default Team Thunder RC

I'm proud to announce that Thunder RC has a whole new website.
Come check out the new site: http://www.thunderrc.com

While most of you know Thunder RC for our Magnet Zapper, we also match IB3800's, GP 3300's, and hand-tune Monster Stocks and Atlas 19 turns.

Thunder RC batteries and hand-tuned 19 turn motors took home 2 National Titles in 2004.

Since its our official "Grand Opening" of the new website, all motors, batteries, brushes, etc. are on sale. Check out our Web Specials for great deals on GP 3300's and IB3800's.
A few examples:

Pro-Tuned Monster Stocks $29.99
Pro-Tuned Atlas 19 Turns $31.99

IB3800 6-cell packs from $44.99
2 packs of 6-cell GP 3300's 1.170-1.174 $65.99

I will continue to have specials each month and will post them on this forum as well as on my website.

In addition to our popular 110AC Magnet Zapper, we have added the following NEW MAGNET ZAPPERS to our product line:

1) 12 Volt Overseas Edition Magnet Zapper (NOW AVAILABLE)

2) HO Slot car Edition Zapper (NOW AVAILABLE)

Come check out our new site and let me know what you think.

Feel free to post your questions on this forum or email me at any time.

I personally answer all phone calls and emails myself.

Thanks for all your support over the past year. We've sold over 50 Magnet Zappers over the past year and still counting. Most of the sales have been word of mouth from other happy customers. To date, we have not had one single failure which is remarkable with the number of motor builders that now use our Magnet Zapper on a daily basis. In addition, we have shipped units all over the United States and to Australia.

A few of the companies that currently use our Magnet Zapper include:

EA Motorsports
Team Br00d
Surge Worldwide
eXpress Motorsports
Team Scream
Team CRC

I found your web site screen hard to read, maybe it's just me though, the red background with black letters...hard to read.

As a side note, I will also be looking to fill a few sponsored driver spots with our team in the near future. If you are interested please send your RC resume in an email to [email protected] These will be partial sponsorships. Right now I am looking for drivers in the US only.

Thanks,

Michael Skeen

Thanks for the input.
Would a white text be easier for you to read on the red background?

I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks

Thanks I appreciate it.

I've been in business for a little over a year now, but I'm just now beginning to advertise and promote my company on the web.

Like I said, it may be just me, no one else seems to be having any problems with it. Everything else looks great though, nice site.

I personally ran Thunder RC battery packs and motors. The IB3800 by Thunder RC are awesome. I have been running them about 3 weeks now, they just kept getting better.

The 19T Atlas motors just have lots of toque, plain and simple. Now I just have to figure out the “sweet” spot for my car as far as the gearing is concern.

The local motor builder even wanted to dyno my motor. He said “Komkit, your motor is SICK!”

Hey Komkit,

Glad you are still liking the motors and batteries.

I told you I'd get my web guy to hurry up LOL

Seriously Kumpol did a fantastic job as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks,

Absolutely.

I just can’t wait for the carpet season to start. I’ll be buying some more 4 cell packs for my 1/12 scale. I forgot to see if the IB3800 will fit without too much trouble. I already built them for my sedan, oh well.

Anyone that wants to be considered for a sponsorship, please make an effort to type up your info in a Word Document or something. Even a simple text file is fine just in some kind of format. Not just typed in an email. It's hard to print it off to look at later in email format.

Information should include the basics:

Where do you race? (name and location of the tracks)
What type of racing? (touring rubber stock, mod buggy offroad)
Your age.
Your address. (city and state is fine for now)
Your finishes local, region, and nationals.
Do you travel to races?
Other sponsors if any.
and anything else that you think would make you a good team driver...

I want to help you guys out, but please make it easy on me to go through the resumes. If you have already sent in your "resume" please send at least the same info in a text or word file.

Even if you don't consider yourself a top level driver, but you have a good attitude, you are looking to improve, and you are serious about racing go ahead and send me a resume. I look at other things besides just results. I may be able to give out different percentages based on experience. I know as well as anyone that this hobby is expensive and anywhere you can save some money is a good thing.

Thanks,

Michael Skeen

Komkit,

I know the 3800's will fit in the CRC T-fource and carpet knife... we also tried it in the L4 battery tray and it was fine as well. If anything a little sanding might be in order, but it looked like it would fit fine.
