Have you tried the 9x2 arm in a different can .... ? I would put the armature in a different can and if it still runs like a pig with a fresh cut, new brushes and new springs.... Cool paper weight...

Not quite sure what's going on, I do know that the gearing is a bit low. Usually we gear our 8 turns at a 20-20.5mm rollout, however I don’t foresee gearing up 1 tooth to fix your problem.....Uhhhhhmmmm, there's lots of stuff that can go wrong with a V2, for instance; damaged brush tube, loose brush tube, shorted endbell Ect.. Could even be a cracked solder tab, this would affect the performance BIG TIME......Kind of hard to pinpoint your problem over the internet..
Jack had a good idea, try the armature in a different can and see how it works....

Alex: Got it...Thanks

Hey Donny.... Haven't messed around to much with Ctx step charging, right now we're using a 5-6 amp linear charge (.02v peak detect) for the IB cells.... A couple of my team guys have tried Ctx step charging, and well, they didn't like it, said the pack had less punch....

Yea, thats what I have come up with the CTX step charging. Less punch.

Just wanted to confirm.

Looking forward to the CP series motors.

Initially no, we want to release the motor to the public in its “Stock” form. Once we have covered the market and filled the initial orders/demand we will then begin production of the Checkpoint UL series motors…

Curtis,
Just out of interest i put a DC High Torque arm in a Checkpoint can today to give it a test! WOW

On the dyno it hit 65,000 rpm with a STD spring and brush set up! On the track it was just awsome!

Looks like DC Motorsports are heading in the right direction and all that buy them will have the bigest grin on there face!
