hey curtis, what are you using to take away the leading edge of the f brushes, my dc f brushes are stock, could you explain your procedure and why this might be important.

I use a brush factory to take .010" off the trailing edge of the brush, this helps to reduce arching, comm wear, brush wear/discoloration and improves performance to boot for our DC tuned Monster stock motors ...

Curtis,
Tried to give you a call , didn't know maybe too late at night.
Well I went to the Halloween Classic this weekend and I have to say
I didn't lack motor that was sure. I ran that 8x1 as we had talked and it was
wicked super fast and easier to drive than a 7, I'll need smoe more of that for
cleveland you know. Eli was wicked fast a few of his main where less than freindly if you know what I mean. I was able to qualify in the B main in mod 6th
and finished 5th it was not pretty but my car came out with a new
nick name " The Time Machine" because it warped time and space down the straight.LOL

Thanks Again,
James

Looking forward to Cleveland ... Now I got to get some wheel time.

thanx for the response curtis, it helps when a person explains why to do something and the results of doing so, helps everyone understand better, keep up the good work

crabboy: 4499, 767, & F-brushes will provide the best performance but they burn up rather quickly. Reedy 766's deliver good power and will last the longest (this is what we usually build the Outlaw 19 KR motors with)....

Alex: Most of our IB 3800 packs range between 410-430 seconds of runtime at 35 Amps.... At this time we have no plans to discontinue the Ti3 series.... The 19 turn in question will be a spec (ROAR legal) motor….

Kevin: Ya buddy, you better hide that credit card

wallstreet: My pleasure, happy to help out.....
