What do you mean? Their anwers were clear enough for me.
(But then again, I allready knew the answers so I can't really judge)

Anyway, if you order an arm from DC, just state which can it will be used in and you will get the right arm.
Ie. Epic for Trinity/Epic and Sagami(sp?) for the Orion/Reedy.

The UL is just a groove in either.

99% of all armatures used in modified motors are manufactured with virtually the same basic design (.910" outer stack diameter, 23mm stack height) while making use of a 1/8" shaft. The only determining factor to an armature not "FITTING" in a particular can would be the commutator size (i.e. Big Comm, as in the Reedy KR series & Ti worlds edition motors).

So to answer your question yes you could swap out a 10x1 armature for a 9x1 arm in the Ti3 can...

Beserco: Sorry if you felt my post was insulting, at the least I was offering further assistance at to why this topic has yet to be properly explained. A visual aid would help put both you and I on the same page.

I can defiantly see why you misinterpreted my post after reading Howards, no harm done…

Top – Top can/Sagami Arm
Epic - Tokyomec Can/Arm
Reedy - Yokomo Can/Sagami Arm
Corally - ? Can/Sagami Arm
LRP - Yokomo Can/Sagami Arm
Yokomo – Yokomo Can/Sagami Arm
Atlas - ? Can/Sagami Arm
Echo - ? CanSagami Arm

Do you get it now? If the arm has a groove and is in a can other than an Epic can its illegal. Unfortunatly Trinity has ~6 diffrent arms that are legal in its own can but only one has a groove so...

Epic cans can have smooth or grooved arms in them. Unless you have bare reference arms you can't tell the wrong smooth ones from the right ones. Honestly though the grooved Epic arm is the best in the Epic motor so someone running a Sagami arm in an Epic motor is not running at 100%

All the others cans should only have smooth arms or arms with the big round Orion machined channels like the Spashet motors.

Curtis...good God man...Go to bed!

FYI, I'm up becuse my 4 year old just pooped and I had to wipe her bum.

I have some DC horsepower on the way, but I have been racing stock lately and only have dead shorted packs. Do I have any chance of making time, or must I use new packs. If I cycle my packs to .9 volts without dead shorting, will the run time increase?

Try to use 5A charging will help to improve the runtime a bit.
A new pack will for sure helps because it is fresh.

Hey Jim, unfortunately after a pack has been dead-shorted there is nothing you can do to increase runtime .... Sorry bud, I know you didn't want to hear that.
