It did rip, and runtime was a sinch. Plus... the motor didn't seem hot or anything at the end. Seemed like a good combo to me, but I'll try out the 18deg at 9.0 and see how that goes, as I run V2 DC Motors.

Curtis: I got an Outlaw 19t arm with the standard small com. I have a couple questions...first, I have a Ti can or a D5 can...any +s to either. Also I can run P94 style brushes or standard standup..which would be better? This is for touring (JRX-S) on a medium/large track. Also any ideas on timing?

Civic,

Curtis will be out for a while because of the Reedy race, but I can answer your question. You probably want to run the D5 can with the P94 brushes. This will give lots of rip everywhere. As far as timing goes, since it is a larger track, try around 24 degrees to start and figure out the gearing you need. You can also run more timing and a shorter gear, but it really depends on the track and the motor's powerband.

If his plane ever lands I'll go pick him up so we can start practicing tomorrow!

Saturday, Sunday, Monday...... Wednesday off to the Reedy Race.
