Default which 27T and 19T motor to get?

Hey guys, I am new to touring car, only raced once at a local club.

I am looking to buy new stock 27T and 19T motors for my HB cyclone.

I usually run on an indoor carpet track that is around 36 x 80 foot.

Which motor should I get?

Which brush and springs? I am completely new so ANY advice would be greatly apprecaited.

Thanks!!!!

lookinco: Glad to hear we have another victim, errrrr, I mean racer .....Go with the new EVO series, both motors perform great!!!.... As for brushes and springs; use either 767's or F-Brushes, with purple springs.

I know what you mean by victim, my wallet gets thinner and thinner everyday

Anyhow, currently I am running a DC monster stock. How does it compare with the EVO-27?

Another question, where would I be able to purchase DC products online if I do not want to go through my LHS in Canada?

LOL..... You can purchase our products through Stormer Hobbies, Speed Tech R/C and Superior Hobbies.... Not sure about Canadian on line shops, Contact Can West R/C they should be able to tell you which on line shops in Canada carry our products....

Hi Curtis,

Just wondering when the checkpoint series mods will be available through your website? And will they include the ultralight arms versions as well?

Leonard.

CP motors will be available through our e-shop around the end of the month, only in the standard arm configuration.... Were working on a new UL series of armatures, called the UL2 series. They'll be good for use in all applications (carpet or asphalt). Release date on those will be February some time...

Curtis sorry about not getting back to you, I'll call you tomorrow (well actually it would be later today since it's after midnight, LOL!). Will you be at the Carpet Nat's because that's what it looks like I'll make (dangnabbit, this torn knee is going to cause me to miss the Snowbirds).

Love the rip of my DC Mod's....

Hey Curtis, good to hear that(was watching the scoring from RCLive.com), just wish I could've gone myself....Oh, btw, do you have those Integy-based stocks ready yet? I'm VERY interested in trying one...

First i'd like to thank DC motorsports for the awesome HP at the Novak race. This was my first race with DC and I was very, very impressed. Unfortuantely didn't quite get the result I was looking for (see picture) but we will get them at Snowbirds.

In modified Drew and I both ran a CP 8x1, with 24 degrees of timing. We rolled them out around 20mm. Drew ran a C2 in 19-turn.
