Man, I can't believe those prices. Those are some great prices on the 3800's. Nice job on the site as well.

We do what we can. Thanks for the props on the site. I've been meaning to add the menus for a while. It was starting to get cluttered...

Great time at Maximus tonight guys. Three heats of sedan and two heats of 12th! Not bad for the second week of the season. Great to see some of the RCE crowd made the trip like Dave, Nick and Shawn. Steve B, you're a slacker...

I also dropped off a dozen of our best 6-cell IB3800 packs with Heath tonight. If you're local and looking for fresh HP, stop on by or give him a call. www.teammaximus.com

Agreed... Dave has been a great wheel for as long as I've known him.

So I had an opportunity to run the 1/12 last night! I am running the IRS lowered and extended pods and I am running in open mod. Problem is that my battery shipment is hung up at Customs and I sold my other packs that were still fresh and had to run 2 year old 3300's that I pieced together from stuff laying arround the hobby room.

I qualified 2nd in open mod with a Monster Stock!! Most of the guys are running 9-10 turns and 3800's and one of our members has the new Sphere/Neo brushless set-up....all I can say is that the Hyperform is smooooooth and consistant. I can't wait to get the new cells in, so the 8 turn Checkpoint can work its' magic!!!
Thanks Lino for the opportunity to run your gear.

Glad you're enjoying the car John! I haven't heard a bad word about our 12th kit yet.

extended pod plates.....have you run regular pod plates (stock or lowered)?
curious to your opinion on the handling, affects, etc.

most will normally say those are for oval cars due to it lenghtening the wheel base 1cm.

i run the Kimbrough offset ride height adjusters which dending on how you install them can slighty shorten or lengthen the wheelbase from the normal stock centered position. currently i set them so my wheelbase is slightly longer.

Thanks for the update Lino,
sounds good.
Will I have to do very much modding to fit the 3800's properly?
Thanks
Dayton

Just file or dremel the slots until the batteries sit flush with the bottom of the chassis. Not a big deal at all...
