Hey J-Rod, are you flying out to vegas with Steve and I? Also, are you staying in the room with us? Let me know, we have to book flights soon.

Hello Team Hyperform racing. I have a question regarding to your Stock Tuned Motors and your batteries. First off, the Epic Tuned "M" stock, whats so great about it? What makes it different from lets say a Monster Stock Pro? Also for your batteries can you assemble them with deans and how much? Thank you!

vi3- I know Lino tunes each motor individually and his routine for each motor is more based on the individual needs of each motor since each one run will run slightly different from the next. He makes sure all of his products are up to par before they go out the door. Something you dont get from most of the larger mass produced companies.

We take the time to do the following to all our tuned motors...

-Zap the Magnets
-Diamond Cut The Com
-Polish Bushings (Stock Motors Only)
-Polish Armature
-Align Brush Hoods
-Properly space armature in magnetic field
-Dyno Tune with High Performance Brush/Spring Combos
-Oiled/Broken in and Ready to Race
-Dyno Data Included

we can also custom tune any motor based on your application and track characteristics.

In addition, we offer free rebuilds for the life of all our motors. All you pay for is shipping and parts (new brushes and springs).

As far as the assembly, we do not carry deans products... Thank you for your interest!

It's totally cool that you stay with us. I believe we are arriving on the 20th and leaving the 26th. I'll double check with Steve...

Hi Jeff! Polarized springs mean they come with two different spring tensions. For example purple/red polarized spring sets come with a purple positive spring and a red negative spring. The heavier tension spring is always for the positive side.

There is a theory that the current enters the motor from the positive side causing that brush to arc more then the negative side. More arcing requires a heavier spring tension. To give props, this theory was originally developed by the late Big Jim himself. Even though engineers with their infinite book knowledge (I can say that because I'm an engineer myself ) would disagree with him. Since the brush on the negative side doesn't arc as much, a lighter spring can be used. This will cause less drag/friction on the com itself.

Depending on whether I'm trying to get more torque or rpm out of a motor, sometimes I will run the same spring on both sides but the majority of the time I use polarized spring sets for the reasons stated above.
