Lino,

I've got to miss the last Maximus race, I'll be flying home on Friday and not getting back till late. Can you make it down to Excitement on Saturday?

Guys just to let you know, saturday is the nitro regionals at RCE, so I don't know if we can race/practice or not. Hope we can and to see ya both there. Steve, can you make it to maxi to hang out and enjoy the off track "entertainment" even if you can't race?

Lino, I have found out that the hondout motor for our regional is the Epic X-stock. Do you have a setup that works for it in 12th scale ( brush and springs)? Also what kind of rollout would be a good starting point for a 120 ft straightaway?

Hey Carlos, thanks for the kind words. I hope to start the year the way we ended the last one. We have the guys to do it. As far as the epic x, try a full face 99 plus brush or an f with a hole and the trailing edge trimmed. Green/green combo on both.

Lino
what Carlos did not tell you that at the end of that 120 ft straight is turn 1 and 2 of the oval thats about a 40 to 50 ft arc thats UPHILL about 10ft climb so he might need a little more tourqe in the motor to keep the speed up in that turn
Carlos good luck at the race I can't be there till sunday for mod
also loks like some top guns are planning to show up

see you sunday

Just know this CG, a new track record will be set each round and final! And not by a local.

That is fine, but it won't be easy. I don't care about that. I am never going to be up their racing with the lead guys anyways. I know my limit and driving skills. I will always be in the middle of the pack of drivers. I don't practice during the week cause it is not worth the trouble to practice on a dirty track where your car would be spinning out or driftting through the corners. I don't like to be constantly replacing parts from practicing that would get to expensive as it already is. I might just be racing only one class now for regionals. I have spent more money than I wanted these last 2 months. I will have the money that I owe Tim for the tape and ride height adjusters.

Carlos, you are closer than you think. Give it time, wrench your car, and get a good set of batteries and motor. You will have a great run and then you only need to string them together.

Yang.....got speedo???

Default IIC

Hey guys, I wanted to give you all an update on how things are going at the IIC. Steve Boice has been insane in 12th stock all week landing himself in the TQ spot running our Hyperform Razor with Hyperform IB4200 WCs and Hyperform tuned motors.

Steve struggled a bit in sedan due to some bad luck but was able to put in a decent effort in the fourth round. He ended qualifying 7th in TC stock and he is BQ in TC 19t. Which is cool, cause I still get to call him "BQ Boice".

It's main day so best of luck to you Boice. Bring another one home for us!
