Thanks
I use the standard 12l4 shims shaved down to the correct thickness. As far as rollcenter, the lower it is, the more traction you will have. So you want your tbar mounted without any shims between the chassis and pivot balls. If you find yourself looking for steering and out of ideas, shim the tbar up to free the rearend.

In a few weeks we are going to run 1/10th and 1/12th on our 1/8th track so I thinking I going to put in a 7 or 6 turn and let it fly.

Good to hear from you Tim. Running with Dumas will be real good for you. Nice to have someone with that kind of talent to pace off of. You joining us in Vegas?

For shimming the rear pod. I dug around my washers till I found 3 that were the right thickness and of equal size.

No Vegas this year they never let me know where I was on waiting list so I put a stop payment on check no need to have 200+ check out there without knowing if I can make it in or not.

Lino, I finally broke my best lap 14.646 sec. and got a 13.999 sec. lap. I had to change my setup just abit. I almost did it again but the closest I got was 14.064 sec lap and that was in the A-main. I ended up spining out twice going into the sweeper to catch the 3rd place guy and got 4th. I could not figure out why it did that. but I am going to go over the car closely to see what it was that caused it. I am getting ready for my Regionals here in Region 9. I thought I let you know what has been going on with me.

CarlosG.

P.S. my Integy 16x5x6 fried one of my 4200 battery packs. This is the second one that this happened to me. The first was when I was in Dallas racing with Tim at their big race the Texas State Championships. I would suggest if anybody has this chatger to watch their batteries closely. I did not find out till after my run when I took the pack out of the car. I noticed a liquid substace on my car stand and on the car. So just a fyi to all you out there.

Nice job by both of you. Keep those Razors out front!

That sucks about the integy charger Carlos. I have never been a huge fan of their chargers.
