Next week starts our carpet season here. I'm putting the finishing touches on my new Hyperform Razor. I figure a good starting setup would be similar to what I was running on my 12L4 (that was dialed) for our track. Please shoot any holes in this or give any suggestions you think might help.

10* Dynamic blocks Spaced in the middle
.020 springs
Servo Flat on chassis, turnbuckles shimmed level
.073" T-Bar
35wt oil and AE Silver Spring
CRC Light tube lube (I was using 90wt oil on the damper plates in the 12L4)
Batteries Full Rear
4mm Ride height front and rear
Purple Parma Tires up front
Double Pink Parma Tires in the rear
Protoform Speed12b Body
Co27 with a rollout around 1.85"
96t spur

The only real change from the 12L4 to my new Razor is the chassis and the tubes instead of damper disks.

are you running this car in stock or mod? for stock you might try some magenta fronts and possibly a speed 8 body instead to free the car up some.

also if you are running stock and you want to run the .075 t-bar i would try the batts upfront or mid. otherwise .063 with batts full back for weight transfer.

Yes, this will be for stock. Which would you recommend more, the batteries more forward or the .063 t-bar and full back?

Hey Lino. How is it going? I still run the original H12 car and it got me qualified 3rd for the main and finished 3rd in the A-main as well. I was 2 laps behind the leader and 1 lap beind 2nd place. I am still using the original chassis, however it maybe time to replace it already.

Glad you guys are enjoying the kits. It's hard for someone to understand how great the car is to drive unless they try it for themselves.

An update on the full Razor kit, we have received all of the hardware as well as all of the IRS parts we will be using in the kit. Just waiting on the rest of the front end OEM parts and some misc stuff.

Great news. The suspense has been killing me . Been borrowing a Corally car for a few meetings with 1 set of foams so I can't wait to get my hands on a new kit.

That's a pimp looking Razor Blake, nice job.

I route my motor wires over the damper tube and then under the top plate. Be carefull not to let the wires interfere with either...

Hi Lino,

What do you use to shim between the t-plate and the bottom pod plate to make the pod and the main chassis level? I race on a low traction track, is it a good idea to shim under the t-plate balls to raise the roll center instead of shimming between the t-plate and the bottom pod plate?

Thanks

Hey Lino

just checking in still no racing here in Dallas yet as they run on days I can't make it but the winter racing is comming soon and then we well be running on sundays and I can make it back out there. There will be some good racing then as we have Dumas here now at our local track running 1/12 and 1/10th now.
In a few weeks we are going to run 1/10th and 1/12th on our 1/8th track so I thinking I going to put in a 7 or 6 turn and let it fly.
