Agreed Larry!

Hey John Tag... You can't race a 19T in Stock touring!!! Damn dude, your motor had so much RIP!!! I had a John Sarquis built monster, which usually comes with no complaints for speed....but what the hell dude..your car was ridiculous fast.

Must be the batteries!!!!

I did the dumbest thing in the main....I put the body on about 10 minutes before the race and forgot to wipe off the traction compound. My car did perfect triple axels at every turn! Too bad we aren't figure skating here!!! LOL

I need to get myself some Express Motorsports equipment...I might have a shot at keeping up!

yeah great weekend at jackson!!!

track was grat

after all the motor debate running 19t and stock worked out very well

it split the GREAT drivers with the club drivers and everyone had a blast

what a 19t A main cuffs, johnson, latif and jon williams ballistic speed, serious heavy hitters in that mother like a national level event A main and cuffs winning by a hair at the end . . .WOW

i was kinda happy qual. 2cd on the day behind tag by a lap in stock 27t, had some probs in the main though, hopefully i can work that out for next week

hope to see everyone in the pits this week at jackson

later,

All I can say is WOW that FK05 is SWEET I can't wait till I get more time on it to try new set up's, the current set up is good, but I know there's more in there.

The new brushes are AWSOME just have a few more ideas to play with and I will be doing that this week.

What I can say is I never reused a brush before untill this past weekend. I re-cut the comm after 4 runs and it only needed a tiny skim and re- serated the brushes and off I went. Even after the 4 run's there was barely a mark on the comm, thats at 170* to boot.

Tag - I've been meaning to ask you, what temp. range is acceptable for a motor when coming off the track? I want to make sure I don't overgear or be too easy on the motor and undergear. Oh, btw, I'm running a stock motor, built by Express of course!

I run in the 160-170* range for most tracks

Tag - You have a PM.

What did you guys think of Joel's JRXS? Nice looking car up close? I'm sure it's not as pretty as our 05 Xrays

The car does NOT look as pretty as the FK05, but it does look very unique. Just like their XXX-S was a unique design and departure from what everybody else was doing, so is the JRX-S.

Losi forgot to send Joel the full compliment of springs for the car and he couldn't use XRAY or Associated springs, because the shocks are really short. So he was using my Tamiya short shock springs. Problem with that was I had a few here and there, but no complete set. So he was stuck with either too stiff or too soft, nothing inbetween.

The car pushed all day and we kept talking about what it could be. So in the main, I guess he decided to take a last ditch effort to really soften up the front and keep the rear right where it was. Car looked good until the first turn and offthrottle it was diving and scraping the body. So he told me he did the only thing he could...drive his way out of that mess! HAHAH

btw, the only car prettier than the FK05 is the TRF415...IMHO!
