What is your opinion on performance of the pulse version 2 vs. the duo based motors for 17.5 and 13.5?

Your guys were fast all weekend at 360. Made the show but I gotta step up the driving and horsepower to run with them.

Hey Jamie..

I will say the DUO is a killer motor an will be as long as there around all versions...

Pulse.. I really feel they in some more test time will be motor of choice. We only have very limited time on motor. I personally had 2 runs and Jason only had limited time with a new Pro 10 he had never driven. So in due time I think testing and some notes we will find a sweet spot for that motor. We plan a full test assult at Birds... I will say the power band in Pulse is ultra smooth. So far we have also found added timming has helped some too. Other sample we did have did win CRCRC this weekend in Ohio also in 13.5 set at 24* in a Off Road truck TQ and win..No less paul L also won Novak race for Trinity with Pulse 10.5....Just time in on road needed..

Hey Scott..

There none around at this time. Our dealer has none around either, I dont recall ever seeing a part # for those. I only had spares from blemished motors and Im all out.

What a great weekend at 360 for eXpress. I had great HP all weekend in both 17.5 sedan and 1/12. My sedan was dialed all weekend Got beat up in the first couple rounds, after the resort in round 3, finally got a clean run and missed TQ by 2 sec even with a few taps. I was prepared to go for TQ in round 4 but the track was slow in the morning as we were the first class and nobody went faster. Ended up qualifying 3rd and setting hot lap for the weekend. In the main my car got a little pushy and finished 3rd overall.

In 1/12 it was my first time running the new db12rr on high bite. Struggled with getting the car to turn in practice Fri. but got it dialed on Sat and Sun. Qualified 5 for the A, got a good start and ran 2nd most of the race but was a little over geared and the car fell off with a minute to go and lost a couple of spots at the end.

Overall it was a good weekend and a lot of fun at a great track.

Hey Gang,
Just got in from my 12 hour drive home, LOL. I had a great time at 360 and it is an excellent facility, a true racers track. If you get a chance, GO THERE!! My car was fast all weekend and just really never had luck on my side, but that's sometime how it goes. But there is always next time.

Thanks Tag for the motor, it really is sick and Larry and the boys for the support.
