eXpress Motorsports
Well eXpress have a VERY successful day today at Fastcats for the Canadian Challenge Redemption race! Jeff Beaule TQ'd and won Stock 12th scale, Aaron Straus finished 2nd, and 3rd place Ettienne Marcoux was running eXpress motors and batteries. I won Stock Touring car after an awesome battle! Aaron took pics and will have a more in depth race report later... I'm off to bed!

WOW!!! What a weekend for express at fastcats! I don't even know where to really begin this report since I'm dead tired but I'll do one up anyways.
Saturday Rob and myself went up to the track for practice to learn the layout and setup our cars since we are use to a different traction. We got there around 1ish and practiced for a few hours and got our cars dialed in pretty quickly which was nice. I think all Rob did was adjust his front sway bar and all I need on the cefx was to take the CA off the edge of my rear tires. The track was a bit cold so we couldn't really turn the laps we wantted but we both knew our cars would be good for Sunday. So we closed up shop kicked back, watched Superbad then went out for dinner and I had a few beers watching the IRL Race. Perfect night! LOL So we went back to the track and both ran a practice pack just to kill some time. We Then watched some of American Pie and chatted it up with the Catricalas and Nick. The Catricalas were nice enough to let us crash at the track which was pretty sweet! Thanks a bunch for the hospitality guys! Its greatly appreciated!
Sunday morning came and who do I see waiting at the door to come in bright and early is Jeff Beaule! Right on! So Jeff gets to the track and we talked about some setup and gearing briefly and told him what I learnt from Saturdays practice. Jeff picked up the track pretty quick during practice but was trying a couple different tire combos to adjust to a little low traction. Rob and I each put in a practice pack just to get use to the track again.
Qualifying came and Jeff grabbed TQ in 12th scale first round and improved it in his 2nd. I had some trouble in qualifying with tapping to much but managed to take 2nd spot! Rob ended up taking 2nd in TC as well.
Races came up and Jeff and I started 1-2 we were pretty close for the first 5 laps or so but then I pushing to hard to try and catch Jeff and tapped a couple corners and Jeff was gone. A few mins later, I was catching back up to Jeff as he started to hit stuff and we were within I think 3 tenths or so at I believe the 5 min marker? Not 100% on that though... and once again stupid me I was pushing to hard and started to hit stuff Anyways Jeff ended up taking the win and me finishing a few seconds back in 2nd. Ettienne Marcoux finished in 3rd running express motors and batteries. Beaule and myself have our cefxs hooked up! If our times were transfered to the actually CND Challenge I would of qualified 9th in the A and would of finished 5th overal... I'm not to sure about Jeff but he was ahead of me obv. I was very happy with this because I know traction was clearly lower and I know it would of been faster if the traction was up more.
Robs main then started and he was trailing in 2nd but holding on really close and the leader got caught up in some traffic and Rob was able to lead and hold on for a VERY close finish at the line. Was a great race to watch thats for sure! I think Rob would of qualified 4th overal in the A and finished 3rd! Great runs Rob! Once again would of been even quicker if traction was higher...
So overall it was a very good weekend for Express Canada! I even managed to take the concourse competition with my speed12B body painted by Rick Endler (Rizzo's Rides).
Here is a pic of us with our cars and hardware...NOW I GET TO GO TO SLEEP

Ha Ha I was pooping call again! good timing.
great weekend for Express down here in the Lonestar State - we had our "Texas State Champs" this past weekend. It was a smaller crowd than normal, but it still made for some exciting racing.
I ended up TQ in stock/17.5 1/12 scale and finished 2nd overall. I placed 2nd in A1, won A2, and lost A3 by three tenths (DAMN THOSE THREE TENTHS!!!).
For 13.5 TC, I qualified 2nd and missed TQ by 1.9 seconds. I ended up winning A1 and A2 to take home the win with eXpress Ener-G's!!!! I am diggin' those batteries!!!
Here is a couple of video's from both A2's.
