Default That's Insane!!

Gabe!

You have finally made it to RC Tech.
It's about time!
There's no way you could kill Tony's batteries unless you see fire coming out of the side or don't race for 2 yrs like me.
Get yourself one of those high amp discharge trays.
Slim can recommend a good one for you.
That will kick start them bad boys before you charge them.
Just make sure you hang on to that radio with both hands before you pull the trigger.
Bolt in one of those 19t motors once.
I think that will help in your driving also.

Hi Slim!!

Talk to you soon

Default Oh Fuzzy???

I was wondering how you could have a 100 seconds left in your packs after the heats.
Here I'm thinking you were running 3300's, not 3800's.
I was coming off the track with 25 to 35 seconds left @ 30A.
But they were 3300's.
Good run the other night!
I wish I could of got into the mix before the race was over.
You and Pete were having all the fun.

Default Discharge

Hey Tracy,

He was using a Novak wasn't he? I remember what it looked like but not the model name.

I still think my batteries could use some of slim's magic.

I'll be outa town next week, and on call the next, so if I see you guys at the Gate it'll be by luck. In order to keep my game on I'll be racing at hobbytown on Sundays with my TC3 and 18T. Hopefully my factory team TC4 will be here and built by the time the Gate goes green light. Just in time for another two months of unproductive tuning only to find a loose screw!

Later,
Gabe

Gabe,

Look into Integy's New 30 amp discharge tray.
Yes, Slim has a Novak ( I believe!) but said it is to low of a amp draw for stock or 19t. (2.7 amps w/.09 cutoff)
Integy has a 30 amp w/ .00 cutoff.
Your not going to leave it on the tray for a long time, so it should hurt the cell.
Just my thoughts on what I have read from other racers in the know.

See you at the races!

Default Up from your nap I see

Thanks Tracy,

The Force will concentrate on Integy 30 Amps. Yoda says hello. Got a new motor in my RC10GT, it does wheelies, need I say more?

Tony,

After talking with you over the last month, I have decided that I have probably killed all of my PowerPush batteries. They still run fairly good but I hadn't known all of the techniques listed in this forum. Was wondering if you would be willing to rematch and rebuild my zebra and 3600's using your awesome soldering technique.

Gabe nice motor you tuned up for me thanks .
now on you Zebras packs , The best thing to do is to sell off your older packs and re order POWER PUSH 3800. You can let me take them home and re zap and pack test them I can let you know how there rate.
Gabe are you going to be at the GATE on the 12th?

Dad's good TONY. I think he's actually gonna take his stuff out to a real race track this weekend and shake the cobwebs off. Road Rage is this sunday at Mid-Ohio RC, (formerly CORCAR) and I'm goin' for sure. Dad's still a bit wishy-washy about it though.

I'm goin' to Wisconsin at the end of the month for Scotty's Summer Sizzler as well. It should prove to be a good pre-season carpet warm up.

how are Janice and the rest of the family?

Hey Tony,
I just wanted to drop an update on how things were going here. Not much really going on in the region right now. But, just finished running the weekly points series at my local track. I finished 2nd overall without a single finish under 4th place (and that ended up being my throwout ). unfortunately the heat is taking it's toll on my 3300's. So, i'll probably be calling you soon to tryout some of the IB's.
