Would 9 be still the correct ratio?

Thank you in advance for all the advice and assistance

I think you might be Undergeared. I am gearing my 8*2 V2 at 7.43 for a track that sounds like it has a similar sized straight/sweeper. Its FAST. Only gets up to around 165 f.

Team-BrOOd supplied the power for the Results from the New South Wales off-road state title held @ Castlehill Australia 12th-14th August. Note it was the first time any of these drivers had used Team-BrOOd motors & all drivers using Team-BrOOd motors made the A-main.

4wd Mod
Adam Ellis 3rd
Chris Russell 9th

2wd mod
Chris Russell 8th
Adam Ellis 9th

Mod Truck
Adam Ellis 2nd
Adam Bartholomew 5th
Chris Russell 8th

Team-BrOOd stickers also helped Adam Ellis win the 4wd concourse & Joanne Gainer the 2wd concourse.

Thanks go to Team-BrOOd (Eddie) for supplying the best motors on the market.

Team br00d- qualified 2nd in mod sedan at the West Cost shoot out but pulled off durning the main after some problems with lapped traffic. Next up for team br00d out this way will be the region 12 asphalt race at speedworld raceway the first of September. The raw horse power is nice and it's at my finger tips.

...at teh WCSO I was running br00d 10x2's (at STLNLST'S suggestion) and qualified 3rd, ended in 4th (maybe 5th ..there was some confusion as to the main finishing) ..the 1st time I've ever raced modified to boot!!

Default 12x2cobalt

HeyGuys

I just received my brood 12x2 cobalt and was wondering about timing.
There are no timing marks on it, could you tell me how many degrees it is likely to have left your factory set at??
Also , what timing should I set my 12x2 D6 at (with a br00d armature).

This is a quick motor, keep up the good work.

cheers
geoff

i think last week was the closest yet!

Would like to thank Br00d and Eddie for their excellent customer service. I had a motor malfunction due to a manufacturing defect, and they straight away sent a replacement.

It is a good company, and I hope it grows organically and they maintain the atention detail....

Br00d had 2nd and 3rd qualifying spots. I forgot that you were behind daddy....LOL We would have been 1st & 2nd if Jesse didn't get that killer run in the last round. It took a 7x2 to keep up with a Br00d 10x1 and 10x2

Hi, can anyone tell me if there's a distributor for br00d in the UK? My local model shop is after some br00d stock motors and they aren't sure what is the best way to bring them over, would they have to order them directly from Eddie? Also, they would like it if we could just have 1/2 stock motors (eg monster and p2k2) sent over just to try them just to find what would best round our local track, so probably different types of stocks, is this possible Eddie?
Thanks for any help
ALi
