I remember that night! It looked like the competition was "painted" on the back straight wall!!!

I'm gonna get a Br00d C2 pretty soon and have some fun with it. For now I have plenty of mod ponies to play with

i've just bought a Team BrOOd 9x2 V2 base motor and i'm gonna use it on my 12th scale .. just wonder if there are any changes i should do to make it more suitable to my 12th scale pan car?

use lighter tension springs. 12th only uses 4.8v

but what sort of spring and what sort of timing should i try? i'm completely new to this motor tuning thing

well to be honest, i'd try it as it is to start with.

if you have plenty of rip out of corners but not as much speed down the straight, try going to a softspring (orion do, soft, medium, medium hard and hard i think)

then you could drop it down 1 notch on the timing...you'd still have the extra speed from the springs but a bit more torque back from the less timing (and it would run more efficiently/cooler )

does any one know if eddieo has worked on any team luna cans and the new assumo endbells
are they revy or torquey or just you get what ya get

no we have not worked with these motors at all, in fact, do you possibly have a link to a pic or something, i don't even know what they look like??

I think they are Ti based........ I remember seeing them on the sorex USA website a while ago. Dunno if thats the same motor though.
