Hey guys, ive recently purchased a team brood 8x1 v2 motor. my friend go it for me.
i have been having trouble finding the sweet spot for this motor (gearing and timing)
also on my team orion motor checker the volts are very high at 3volt indicating its a poor condition motor, it shows 11-12 on the screen but my other motors are at around 4-5. but ive cut the com twice since i got it and had it geared at 8.00.
i dont know whats going on with it but any info would be appreciated.
thanks.

Congrats to Peter for your TQ and win in 19 turn. Your car looked awesome all weekend. Jason Ertrachter also ran well in the A main, winning the 3rd one. Not sure where he ended up overall. My motors were killer all weekend. I was running 7x1 and 8x1 Cobalt based motors with XXX brushes and they had tons of rip and wear was awesome.

Hi Eddie,

I just picked up 2 of your Cobalt trim modifieds, was wondering what ratios would be good to start with. I got the 8 and 7 doubles. My track is high speed with the following dimensions: 60*50*45 meters.

I also picked up one of your Tosolini editions 8 singles. For the same size track what would be a good ratio to start?

Thanks a bunch,

PS: The motor rocks.

My motors were great as well. I ran the Cobalt and the Ti can. Both were killer. The Cobalt was rockin' in practice but I really like the Ti can. The Br00d batteries are also killer. I had plenty of runtime and great punch. Maybe I'll see you at the KO race if I decide to run it. We'll have some better luck next year. Time for bed.

Here is what happens to a Navigator when it meets Bambi at 60 MPH....needless to say, Bambi has joined her mom.

My poor poor truck....at least the 24s didn't get scratched.

Congrats to all the finishers at the Reedy.....sorry I was not there. I was playing in a big softball tournament, which we placed 3rd....just 6 outs away from playing in the championship game....
