Hey Eddie, whats your input on the Off-road side of your Cobalts, with Trinitys new XXX brushes out i think its time i went away from peak and back to trinity. only 2 guys at my track run cobalts and they look sick and super smooth, both say they are awesome motors, looking forward to your input, BTW, i dont know if youve ever been there but what turn/wind would you recomend for rc madness' offroad track, im gunna need 2 motors (buggy and 4whl) for the mod nats.

It was only with my big comm stuff. I think my lathe was actually the problem. I cut so many motors last weekend with having to cut Robert's 19turn motors after every run that I ran out of carbide bits that were sharp. I bought 4 more this week so I'll be fine at the next 3 dayer. I also have my Cobalt based stuff now so we'll see how that goes.

Jack you will like the cobalt can. The XXX brushes are pretty killer.I ran a 8x2 at the State Champs. They are really easy on the com it doesnt get burned to a crisp after one run. You do have to have to cut it every run but you only have to make one pass on the com to get it clean. If you run a 9x1 then you will get about three runs before your first cut.

Hi, I want to say a thank you to Mr Jolly for his excellent customer service. I had 10 pairs of the "Faulty" F-lines (my comm was toast after one run). I was instantly offered a refund.
I asked to PX the refund against Br00d monster. with no extra cost the motor was sent that day. Thank you very much for the excellent service. Jonathan
P.S I ran the motor out doors today for the first time and what can I say, it was very fast in straight line (I had a couple of queries about the legality, but they were soon set straight). It was still going strong afer 5 runs with vertically slotted 767's. What brush would you reccomend as a replacemant?? 4499, 4504 etc??

the 4499`s will give you a bit more torque over the 767/slot
eddie0 from br00d started with 767`s in the first place ,he only went to f--line cos i asked him to & they were good , then the bad batch came along & spoilt the fun
try the full face 767, full face 4499`s
the cross cut brushe`s i never could get on with
but each to there own
the 767 is a good brush but lacks a little down bottom , if your after a bit more bottom 4499`s

if you have red/red combo go for a purple on + side that will give your motor a bit more bite

Eddie0 (you will like this)
Andy east has just won the first round of STCC at west london running br00d monster, `TQ`d & won all 3 legs of the A finals
in leg 2 he lapped every one except 2nd place & himself

I heard thru the Grapevine that Br00d has won another National Championship at the Roar Carpet nats. I heard that Peter Robinson took home the gold in Stock Touring Car. Congrats to the Brood camp.

Congrats to all the Br00d drivers @ the nats. Heard it was a rough weekend, but good job on adding some more gold to the Br00d tent.

Congrats to Toso and to the rest of the team. It's going to be a great year. Asphalt season is here (as soon as it stops raining)

Ran br00d yesturday in stock and i needed it to have any chance of keeping up! First time outdoors properly and everyone was rapid. The track was absolutly freezing and it started a little damp and i struggled for grip all day. Made the back of the A and finished 8th or 9th Then we managed to go the long way home and it took all night to get back, didnt bother me, i went to sleep in the car while my friend was driving
Nick and Jimmys cars on the straight made a great noise, after you had that other can zapped for the final it was flying Nick, cells go off part way through though? Did you run CS22s? I was on premounts all day practicing for TORC.
