Thumbs up

It will ship tomorrow.

There has been a minor delay in our winding production as we had to do some reorganizing of our storage area making it kind of hard to find parts for a day. Our landlord turned our primary warehouse area into a totally awesome hot rod museum.

Your order had already shipped by the time I saw this, I sent it first thing this morning USPS Priority Mail, so it will take 2-3 days. You should see it by Friday. I would have been able to respond sooner, but being our shop is in the boonies, my Internet access is somewhat limited until I get home ... then I can actually start working.

I always suggest starting with a 7.3 FDR with that motor and working from there, not all motors are created equal; and not all tracks require the same gearing. 7.3 is a good ball park to start with, generally speaking you will go to a lower ratio from here.

If you've got a large track or are racing outdoors I would suggest trying the Reedy Stockstar as well.

Syber are you going to ask everyone if they are going to try that motor are what. Itd the 4th or fifth post I have seen on a different thread. If you want one so badly just buy it from trinity and try it out for yourself.

Uh...right. Idiot.

Quit following my posts around, learn proper grammar and puncutation, then shut up. There is no problem with me asking the tuners in their respective thread, thats why the threads are there and thats why this website exists. I want to see what the tuners will think instead of buying a dud motor that won't get tuner support. I dont have time to do all the tuning myself so thats why these guys are here for. Get some common sense.

Sorry for fouling your thread, guys. Mr.losijoe99 (with less than 10 posts even) just doesn't understand.

We will be getting them in and experimenting. We generally don't work on getting motors uber early while they are still in pre production as it might not be the same motor that's released to the public. Plus it generally does not take us long to master a new motor.

It looks like it will be a decent motor. My assumptions are it looks like it is a "ROAR X" version of a CO27. A lighter arm allowing more RPM, probably at the expense of torque and taking away the "added forward inertia" that the CO27 provided. With todays batteries it's hard to NOT have a fast stock motor.

Almost every Trinity stock motor in recent years has been a good fast motor if tuned properly if it is used in the proper application. Is the Mystery Motor going to be a good touring sedan motor? We'll see.. Looks like it will be though.
