Jeff has been working very hard at making sure the stock and 19T motors all get turned around fast. He pulled around 70 motors out in a single day so we could slam through a dealer order. Wit him doing that, and me pulling all the batteries as they come in we've been moving everything out the door much faster.

Looks like both Travis Schreven and Chris Tosolini are doing pretty well at Carpet Nats! Way to go!

Brood 19t Checkpoint Gearing And Maintenance?
Hey, in a XXXcr buggy, what gear ratio would you reccomend for a brood checkpoint?
Also, how many runs between comm trues to maintain power?
How many runs generally before brushes should be changed? I've got the stock brushes in it and I have bought the long wear replacements.
Thanks for the help!

Uh...thanks for that, Fred..
GarrEtt put another national win under his belt by building Trav's motors.
SO GarrEtt...I heard a rumor there is a pic floating around of your pit, with your transmitter sitting on a magnet zapper? Might have contributed to your radio issues.

What kind of brushes does KD based motor comes with? Is it 767? How do I gear it compared to regular KD? It is tuned for touring cars on asphalt (blueprint version).

tuning co27
Sorry to butt in but i hav a motor tuning question to ask.....
I'll be racing a team brood co27 motor at a state tittle this week end (perth, wa). Just need sum advice on tunning and running it in. The track is a carpet track with an avg lap time of 11 sec for the a-mains guys and consist of s turns wif a few 180s.
Basically wat i'm chasing in the motor is improving it's mid to top rev torque wif sum extra rpm (not much) just to gain a bit of leg down the main stretch or when traffic open ups. As of the moment the motor is still straight off the shelf with slotted 766.
I have read abit on the motors but quite frankly i can't seem to find the definite answer to my problems.
any advice given will be much apreciated........

Hi, I heard Eddie was hotter than a Chinese LiPo fire... but that's not why I'm here.
The H.A.R.D. tools on your site, what do you guys think of them? They're damn expensive, but I'm thinking about getting some nice new tools, and had pretty much decided on Hudy (which I've seen in person) until I saw these. How do they compare? Are they heavy or light? Any other impressions?
Thanks for your time.
