Yo gerrett,
did you get the email's I sent. I wanted to know about gearing the checkpoint pro 11-2 for my T4? What would be a good starting pinion for a medium size and kinda tight track? Also I am looking for some kind of update on my order(#2313). I tried the brood site but still no response. I have some butt kickin to do and I want to do it with your checkpoint pro. LMK as soon as you can.

Good general rule of thumb is 8-10 teeth (on the pinion) above the Turn. I would start with a 21 and work from there. Since you said Tight to Medium track a 20 might be better depending on the layout and how far the jumps are from the turns. Should also run about 12deg. of timing for a tighter track, more timing if its more wide open.

Default ATTENTION

there will be limited activity at the brood shop starting on Thursday Dec. 21st.

I will be out of town for christmas and new years. i know garrett and jeff will be celebrating the holidays too, so orders recieved after wednesday the 20th will most likely begin process after the holidays are over (jan 1st-2nd)

thanks, Peter Robinson

Hey Peter & Garrett,

This is Jag from up North, also know as the guys that like to offroad there touring cars at peel-it.

I was thinking of trying out one of the checkpoint mods, (normally I have been running v2's) and was wondering what brush life is like and how often you should change the brushes for maximum performance vs. club racing. And also if there is any tips or tricks you have for maintenance and tuning.

Any help would be appriciated.

PS. when is the next club race you guys are holding, we are thinking about coming down for a weekend to run offroad on sat and onroad on sunday... Is the turnout pretty good?

Yeah we would love to ome down this weekend but we actually have a club race up here finally, and we have to support our local guys as well. But we hope to come down sometime soon. We have a big race in kamloops coming up of feb 9th so hopefully we can get down before that. And if any of you wnat to attend a really fun race the kamloops race can be quite entertaining.

and you know the TA05 will be ready to hit the triple again, we have some setup ideas to get it around the entire track a little faster...
