Well, you should make sure spec can be hand wound....if not, then yer only option is the regular reedy quad mag 19t or the c2....

Either or, I can do them both, just let me know. Email your order to [email protected]

Default Team Brood Motor runs 10hrs straight

Recent 10 hr enduro showed the power and durability of a Team Brood motor.
Running lap times 2 to 3 seconds faster than the nearest competitor.
A 18/2 kr 4mm blank HVW Power Trix equipped motor went the distance with style.
Efficiency was top of the line getting 17-20mins per pack.
Turned in 1400+ laps.

not a fan of reedy quad mags, as they are technically not spec motors ( no armature cut out ) how does the c2 perform?

That's awesome! I take it that Br00d won the race?

Sorry , we did`nt win....Broke a ton of parts that never break....
dispite all that, we ran strong in the second half of the race...
It was a bit of a bummer having the fastest truck , yet all the bad breaks & stuff.... A list : two transmissions > strip gears...
2 servo savers arms
1 servo horn

Next time.....

This race>>> Trcr`s 10 hr enduro was made of eight 5 man teams....

using a 1/10 off-road truck
no quick change battery tray allowed...
each driver runs 1 hr than changes to next driver ...
Others team mates are busy charging battery`s & assiting
pit stops, while one corners for one hour.

each team is built around 1 team captain ( local fast guy)
1 novice ( beginner)
3 other`s that are choosen by Scott Brown to balance out the team for a fair race. ( kinda like a football draft)

I`ll bet anyone, at the next enduro, Team Broods enduro motor will be in almost every teams truck....

It was sooooo fast & specially the last hour .....

The Reedy meets every roar rule except two.....one, its not mabuchi wound like a stock motor, its wound Hemi, like all modifieds...and two it does not have the extended shaft with a taper for easy tech...

The C2 shows a little less power on the dyno, but they seem to perform as well on the track and they are much easier to gear. I have them in stock and they are the same price....

I'll see what I can do for more enduro motors.....that one was kinda of one of a kind...made specifically for Tim....

They most likely will have another enduro in about 4<>6 months..

I would consider building 15 to 20 of um & send to Trcr about 3 weeks before the race.....
You will sell most , if not all of um ....

Nice work Eddie , you sould of seen just how fast that motor waz moving around the track !......

Was it a V2 based motor? That's really impressive that it ran so long..

I don't stock the Orion 19t because they are coming out with a new V2 based one and I did not wanna get stuck with the old ones.....plus, we have not had much luck getting the old ones to hang with the C2 or Reedy....

I've got one of these Peak/Orion Motor Performance Monitors and I know they're not really great for judging how good a motor is but I was just too curious as to how the numbers compared with some of my other gear. No surprises, they look very good, but the 19 C2 was revving like mental fast Only thing was it was drawing crazy amps. At 2v it was doing 9200 rpm at 16A. When I cranked it up any higher the MPM stopped saying 'Amps are too high' Any idea if this is normal (this is of course under no load)?

MR JOLLY - What are the plans to make TeamBr00d BRCA legal in the UK?
They will be on the list early next year
Hope this helps
Simon
