i would say stay were you are at. check the condition of your comm and brushes and if there is any fading to determine otherwise.

Hmm ok?!
It seems that there's something wierd going on.

I have 3 orders on my account. 2 old (01/08/2006 and 11/18/2005) and 1 new that i placed 27/10/2006.
The 2 old orders says "Processing" and the 27/10 order says "Received".

Default 4 Cell set-up for the Komodo

Hi Peter,

Just wondering if you happened to get that 4 cell set-up from Travis using the Komodo Dragon? Wondering what changes I should make to my Komodo that was tuned for 6 cell Touring car on outdoor pavement track? Lighter springs maybe?

Also, can someone please descibe a simple regime for care/discharge of 4 cell packs? Just started racing 4 cell, 19 Turn in 12th scale. When finished racing, should I be bringing the IB packs down to 3.6 and if so, how? I use and Indy Reactor and an Octane-2 tray for my 6 cell configurations but my discharger only dumps down to 5.4V. Can I just use the tray after the race to bring them down to 0.9v per cell? What charge should I put back into them for storage after a day of racing.....something that is simmilar to the 6 cell which I put 500 seconds back into?

Any help would be much appreciatted,

Thanks guys,

Brent

Hey TeamBrood,

I tried sending an e-mail to Garrett (still no response from him since Monday) to find a tracking number of my EMS parcel as it has been 10 business days and I still have not recieved any parcel from TeamBrood. My order# is #2167.

Thanks a mil.

travis likes red/green springs with full face f-brushes in 12th scale.

for all of the current IB4200 cells, you will want to put about 500sec of charge the very first time you go to charge a new pack. NOTE: this is only if the pack is brand new.

after each run discharge the pack to 5.4- i do this on my muchmore CTX-D using a 30amp pulse to 0.9v per cell.

then you can put the pack away if need be.

before you go to charge again- i stick the pack back on the CTX-D and discharge using 5-amp linear discharge to 0.85v per cell.

charge using 5-7amps (which ever you prefer)

use a 0.2 cutoff for 4cell-0.3 cutoff for 6-cell.

your going to have to check your post office on that because it was shipped out. once i get to work today i will check and find your tracking number then i will pm it to you so you can check. since it was sent out there is nothing we can do it's either stuck in customs or what not.
