hehehe....I wish I'd have run that track more. I only went back to it right near the end and discovered what a fun track that was.

RC came LOOOOOONG before MCO for me. I've been doing RC on and off for 17 years.

Are you doing V2 motors, Eddie? If so, I may need a couple in the not-so-distant future.

Hey Eddie - I got those motors, one week after they were sent, thats good service

I've got one of these Peak/Orion Motor Performance Monitors and I know they're not really great for judging how good a motor is but I was just too curious as to how the numbers compared with some of my other gear. No surprises, they look very good, but the 19 C2 was revving like mental fast Only thing was it was drawing crazy amps. At 2v it was doing 9200 rpm at 16A. When I cranked it up any higher the MPM stopped saying 'Amps are too high' Any idea if this is normal (this is of course under no load)?

MR JOLLY - What are the plans to make TeamBr00d BRCA legal in the UK?

I know you asked eddie but I will try to help.100x60 is a BIG track compared to most.
If it's a flowing track thats very fast in laptimes 14 seconds or less and a average MPH in the 17+ per lap then the softest I would go is Red/Red.Meaning if the track is laid out to be fast with no slow sections thats the softest I would try.
If its got a good combination I would run a Purple + and a Red -.
If the track is tight in all area's except for the long straightaway I would run Purple/Purple.
What car are you running?
What are you gearing it?
Goodluck and have fun as I have with Team Br00d Motor's.

Try a purple on the + and see if your lap times drop. You may gain more in the infield(where more passing usually goes on)to where it equals out but more grunt to pass in the smaller parts which is a plus.I would do the laptime test and when you go purple try 31/32.
If heat is an issue you might try getting some Tribo.Use only a sinlge drop and the rotate the motor to spread it on the comm.Wont increase power a ton but will help with brush/comm wear and also less heat with a lil power gain expecially at the end where heats knocks off your times a bit.DO NOT use it if you use comm drops.
Goodluck and I hope the motor works well for ya.

I've used a 6.8 final drive ratio on rubber tires on a indoor carpet track about 70x40 with the reedy quad mag. You could proabbyl go taller too since it has the power to pull big gears
