We run Brood motors all the time and the other day the supplier here in Australia sent me through a motor with great figures, but on the track it was about the same as all my other Broods.

I know the track is the best testing ground, but you must have seen same real quick stockys in your time, and I want to get my hands on one of them.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Craig
A motor that dyno's out better than others will run better on the track if you get the gearing right. Motors from the same manufacture same type can have a lot of difference in gearing. 4-5 pinion size sometimes. Do some testing with that super dyno motor and make it come alive.

The Ti Worlds comes with laydown brushes.....its a hybrid of the Kr and Ti put together...

If you got one with standup brushes, thats a Ti more than likely...

The difference.....

Ti= Standup brushes, 2 magnets, small comm
Ti Worlds = Laydown brushes, 2 magnets, large comm

Guys must of misread the sheet....

766 and 729 are same brush.,....just one is a standup and one is a laydown...

How have the stainless alignment bars been going?
Have they been popular?

Red face first test run

Hey Eddie,
I finally got a chance to run the 19 turn brood w/cut arms, in oval. It was as fast as anything out there!!! thanks for a hot motor!!

I purchased a cobalt 27, and was having problems with it.(I thought) I found it was a speed control problem. Before the race I changed the transmitter from a Jr FM to a Futaba PCM and the setting change. so I ran 2 qualifiers at 2/3rds throttle. It should be broken thoroughly, in if anything. I can't wait to see what it will do at full throttle.

Also do you have motor recommedations for stock on road. I heard that some racer were complaining about the atlas based stockers having problems. I think it was something with the end bells.

Thanks again for the hot 19!!
Wayne

there is no problems with the atlas motor, the thing we have noticed is the the circut boards seem to be a little fragile. so if you are running a car in the configuration of the T2, cyclone, 415, etc. where the motor overhangs the left side of the chassis, a hard whack to an outside wall (like getting onto a straightaway or sumthing) will crack the circut board. most of the chassis manufacturers offer a motor guard that will prevent this from happening, and i would highly reccomend investing in one... regardless of whether you are running the Atlas or not.

OK then, now all I have to do is decide which motor to buy. Maybe I'll try an atlas.
thanks
