Mike Reedy told me once, "if the motor leads aren't unsoldering you are ok. If they are, thats too hot"...lol!

Noobie - Adrian is pretty much right, with the new gen of brushes it can get a lot hotter. I have had the pos brush come unsoldered on a Ti, but dont think i have ever unsoldered the motor wire. Unlike a V2 where the motor wire falling off is the first thing that happens.

Should have seen some of the funky arrangements the Orion boys had on their motors over at the TITC.

Team br00d now has the Checkpoint motors, brushes, and springs IN STOCK......the motor is the new version, which uses a high temp plastic....very trick.

Checkpoint motors will not start shipping until we are back from carpet nats.....and even then, the normal 2-10 business days to ship applies....

Mush, I would go with one of the Atlas motors.....the Reedy is good, but is very tough to gear and most people end up thinking its slow cause they have it geared wrong....

Noobie, as long as the motor is not fading like mad (some fading is normal, but thats usually the battery pack dropping voltage)....I don't really care what temp it is, as long as its fast on the track....

We are doing our best to get orders out guys.....

Please keep in mind, all orders can take up to 10 business days to ship.....we build everything to order....we are the only motor company that does that.....hence why it takes a little longer.

Most people gear the the Blue Atlas about 1-2 teeth higher than a C2....the EVO atlas is about the same as a c2...though some go one tooth smaller....

We may get a limited amount of c2 motors in soon, but we don't know.....

We will be the first OEM with the Cobalt 2 motors.....I just got a box of samples.....the issue at this time is that Trinity cannot even get enough for themselves, so OEM companies kinda take a back seat until they can......guess this can be blamed on the overall domanation the cobalt 2 has displayed at the last 3 big USA races....
