Hey Brood guys,

I submitted a question via your web form... then sent some email to '[email protected]', and got no response. You guys out racin'?

Anyways, here's my question:

I received an Atlas 19T as a gift. Since the gift-giver didnít know that Iíd like to use it for 1/10 touring car on carpetÖ Iím guessing the motor came setup for the first option in your list: 1/12 scale.

Could you please tell me how you brush/spring a Brood Atlas 19T for touring cars on carpet?

Thanks,

Bob Nilsen

purple/red spring

767 or 4499....brush.

1/12 will have 2 vertical slots in the brush, with green/blue springs

1/12 stock recommendations

We are getting ready for our R.O.A.R Region 8 on-road championships. We run the 1/12 4C stock class. We are looking to purchase 24 great cells for packs to run at this race. What do you suggest that we use? We are also looking at 2 new motors for this race. Any suggestions here? There is a flyer in the Nebraska section of the forums if you want to take a look at it. The races are February 17 - 19 and we would like to try out the batteries at one of our local weekly races before we go.

Thanks

Get our Pure Energy Super Mod packs for 1/12th scale.....the extra runtime helps prevent the fade you sometimes get at the end of the 8 minute run......

I would get the higheste voltage you can afford.....

For motors, I would get the monster stock.....they work well every where and will be easy to gear for you track, as it will be what most other racers are running.....

Bob Nislen, I responded to your email....not sure why it did not get there....to switch to touring car.....just spring up to purple/red....

Just checked my email again, don't know why it didn't go through. Thanks for the response.

The brushes on the Atlas have two little vertical slots cut in them... and I couldn't find 'em on your web site. What brushes are they, and do you sell more?

those are 767 that i cut slots into for 12th scale, i would recomend that you run a full face brush if you are switching over to touring car.

we can sell you 767's with the slots cut in them already, just specifiy when ordering.

Hey Eddie,
I need a stock for my TC indoor carpet. I don't know much about stock as I run mod mainly but have to run stock at club.
I guess I'll be using the f-brush but which motor do I get? There's loads on your site.
Thanks.

b.t.w. do you know if your centre cut V2 arms are BRCA legal?
