Default big thankyou

Eddie, 'Just to let you know. It was nice to see Dan and Garret up at our track in Mount Vernon on Friday. They were great and very helpful to a lot of people. they also brought a couple of batteries with them and made a couple rookies really happy. It's nice to see somebody doing good for the local racers. Sent a message to Atomic Ron, dared him to get out here and race with you and us in January.
Thanks again for just being EDDIE.

As we got higher capacity batteries, companies started messing with things again....namely armatures cut down the center.... ORION used these armatures with great success at the 2004 IFMAR Onroad World Championships......

So, if anyone deserves credit to bringing them back to the market, it would be Orion.....

I can show ya pics from Big Jim that were dated back in like 2002 with a center cut armature (he also milled them horizonantly too).......

Keep the trash talk at home......nobody cares who had it first, especially in this case when its not even true...

No real answer for that, as their is too many variables.

Often, a speed control usually will have a turn limit on it, usually in the instructions or whatever. I would try searching the net and see what you can find or try contacting the company who makes it and see what information they can give you.

I can tell, on a carpet track, a STOCK motor can pull 40 amps during a wrech or what not.....a 10 turn can pull over a 100 in some cases...

If you intend to race modified of any way....you will need to pop for a top ESC like GTX or Q2.

I don't have a ton at the race...

Peter Robinson in Stock Touring (currently like 15th or something...was in a crap qualifier because of a registration mistake), 19t Touring (currently 6th in the A), and 1/12th Scale Stock (currently 4th in the A)...

Mike Dumas in mod touring and mod 1/12th.....currently TQ in both classes.

Have a few others working their way up.....too sleepy to think.

I have a built a few other A mainer motors....and a few people running my packs, but because of other sponsor stuff.....we can't talk about that!:P

Looking for some info,

Will a KR arm fit in a Shock can. endbell?

Setting up a motor for the 10hr enduro.

Got the Big Jim Custom arm on a KR blank just looking to improve cooling on the current endbells.

Also heard that there is a short supply of rock crawler arms. (Eddie)

Tim,

Why don't you use that arm in a V2?

I have an endbell you can use.... Just put it on another can. There are no rules as applies to that is there?

As far as I know, the shock uses the P94 brushes. I didn't know they had a standup brush tube for the shock. They probably do though.

Yeah, the reedy brushes are way to expensive. I would just go with the cheaper alternative= xxx brush.

Tim and CJ,

At this time the shock is p-94 only, if there is a standup version we (Br00d) don't have it yet. We do have standup colbalts though.

The KR arm is a large comm arm, and I dont think there is enough room to put one inside a V2 endbell, but I never tried it to make sure but I would definately be supprised if it fit.

Also putting a KR large comm inside of a shock or colbalt endbell I think would not work either because inside of both endbells they moved the brushed holders closer to the comm for reduced brush movement to the sides. Maybe if eddieO sees this he can correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.
