the Br00d ponies were killer yesterday. The Reedy 19 turns roked. I played around with different springs and brushes and what I liked the best was The Reedy 769 brush with 11oz springs. I was able to pull the local hot shot down the straight with the motor set up this way. I hope to have more Br00d ponies to test out next weekend. I may go with the Element non V2 motor.

Checkpoint has given us no indication when or even if the motors will be available OEM....

Later EddieO

I use to run for Redline before Br00d and this was the stlye 19 turn motor they offered. It has a nice power band and IMO it's slightly beeter than the Reedy motor. The Reedy is the handout motor in 19 turn at most races so it has pretty much become the industry standard so that's why everyone runs it. I didn't get to test everything that I wanted to with this can so now is my chance to do so.

6:1 equates to a rollout of 33mm. Isnt that likely to cook my motor?

I have spare gearing within this range so suggestions for hi/lo will be enough.

Your help would be appreciated

Anybody??

for all those placing orders this week-- we have a new part time employee that will be working on filling your orders when i am away at races, however he is new and still learning. your orders may take a couple extra days to get to you, i will work hard on getting your orders done when i return from the on-road nats next monday.

thanks,

Peter Robinson

if you cant find 11oz springs you can tweak the purple spring and they will come out to 10.5oz. The Brood Reedy can and C2 can are really good motors can go wrong with either one.
