Brian, who hasn't drove a 12th scale that I know of in the last 5 years, bought a kit off the shelf on Thursday. Had it built halfway through practice on Friday and missed TQing the class by under a second after having a marshal run out in front of his car. He won the first two mains in the triple A main format.

Brian also missed the TQ in the highly competitive 19t sedan class due to the same problem as his 12th scale run (ironic). Brian finished a strong 2nd after a 2nd place run in the first main (which he should have won, but the TQ didn't bother with a clean pass), 2nd in the second A-main and a win in the 3rd A.

In the stock sedan class I qualfied 2nd and came home 2nd in the triple A-main format after winning the 2nd main and finishing 2nd to the overall winner in the 3rd main by .9 seconds. The third main by far will go down as one of the races I will never forget. It was a blast. I held him off as long as I could, but in the end he was just the better driver.
Forgot to add that Brian alway TQed car building lol

I am not trying to start anything, but did Brian bother with a clean pass on the TQ when he went rolling and flipping through the corner. I don't mind everyone reading this, but tell both sides of the story.

I am not taking sides, I am just stating what I saw and others saw as well. It was a good weekend for all who attended, I had a blast and I look forward to doing it again.

I don't see a problem. If somebody had one then they should have said something at the track.

Exactly, I do not see a problem. It was good hard racing. No one has anything to be sorry for. I am glad that the two of you came down as well. I wish Billy would have run then he would be wanting a 12th scale even more now.

Dave and Brian did an outstanding job this weekend in all classes they raced and I hope they come down again soon or we get to go up and race with them.

Since I don't have a sedan or offroad, is there a place we can come run with you and still run our 12th scalers?

I didnt race in any classes with ya'll. I got to sit back and watch. Just like any racing there was some good racing going on and some racing that was not to good. But the orignal post's made it one sided which it was not.

... and a good time was had by all! i had a blast, anway!!!! would have liked to be up a little higher, but a shot in the side in the 1st lap of A2 jammed my motor into the spur so hard, you couldnt even turn the wheels by hand!

we did run some 12th at the old RCR track on Skidnot... didnt really get the right tire choice sorted out. i ran Corally silvers all around, but they were wearing quickly, especially on the left front, as the sweeper at the end of the straight was a right!

i may try it again in a few weeks, after the bite stabilizes... it takes a few weeks of good running to get up to speed. ill keep ya posted!

Ken Peterson and I are looking to run our sedans a bit this summer and wanted to know what the options were going to be this summer in OK? Carpet is fun but man I also like some rubber tire racing...lol

Outdoors or indoors is fine with us....let us know what all you guys have cooking.

Thanks

Jeff

Enid is always fun. Last time I ran there the traction was really good. Tulsa should be a blast too with the skidnot. Just with the track was bigger.
