SLEEPING IS WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN WRENCHING!!!!!!!

there is something wrong, when the TQ of sportsman 19turn has more sponsors than Barry Baker and Kyle Skidmore put together...lol....but that guy was fast.

Brian Stanton's New Nicknames:
B-Dub
Lil-B Nub
Obie-dub
B-cuffs
B-latiff
Brian "Spell-check" Stanton

(thats all the names we can remember now, and the only ones we could post on this family oriented site)

nothing like buying a new kit and building it in an hour and a half and get it on the track.....

most everyone needs a clinic on what an ifmar start is and how to race with ifmar starts....

Brian stanton squeezed every bit of performance out of his schuie...at the end of the week....the car was actually wrenching on him and laughing at him while he wheeled it around the track..

David "Grizzly Bear" Alford is a good team manager

and if you should ever buy a BMW do not put a dang TRAILER HITCH ball on the end of it.

Child proof doors on minivans suck....

Ship your stuff

when using the spektrum now....turn 2 corners ahead of the actual turn for it to work in time....

Matt Francis and the Losi boys are awesome....

I WILL NEVER own a XRAY after the punt job Martin Hudy did on Blackstock in the a-main.....and then for him to talk s--t about it like he did it on purpose.....

It is possible to get punted 8 times in one lap...i know, i was there.....

"Me have tool to fix your car""""

JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAJJJJJJJJJ

Barry Baker is awesome, just being able to turn LEFT.....winning 4 cell 19turn oval....and just putting on a clinic....

quote of the week: "why the f--k is he using a microphone" (you had to be there for this to be funny: 4:00am)

the guy that wins the Gmain, gets the same girl as the Amain winner....sweeeeet

Kyle Skidmore is one of the nicest and most helpful factory guys out there, very approacable and always helpful...

"pushing like an Mi2"

"oh yeah, we've been running that all week"

Special thanks to Patrick Castleberry for flying all the way out just to corner my car and take out half the field with his left ankle....hope your ok, i know a good physical therapist....

7oz steak sounds big until they put it on the plate in front of you...."Where's the beef"

Tacos on a steakhouse buffet arent that bad....

if it wasnt for chic fil a i wouldnt be here writing this....

Chris Doseks fav. restaruant: Chic-fil-a

im going to have to actually use a calendar at work this week to get back to keeping track of the days.....

when in doubt: just take off the swaybar, it doesnt matter which one.

trinity shop girl when buying a stock motor: i over heard her say "they are all the same"

and since I didnt get to give my post main victory speech, I will do it here:

Yeah me and the boys were fighting the cars all week....we've tried 3 or 4 different cars until we just drew this one out of a hat...special thanks to chris watson for the power...to bad couldnt use all of it.

"Closeout sale room 2342"

"towels anyone" (no we dont want our pillows fluffed)

no airconditioning in a roach coach makes for exciting racing.....

JR Radios makes some of the strongest "fencing" antennas ive ever seen....Reel her in, Reel her in....

only the fast guys carry their radios in the transmitter bags to the driver's stand.....

thats all for now....ill post more as i remember

Default more stuff learned at the birds

more stuff i remembered....

anything you dont want to take back on the plane, just leave outside the room..

dont loan money to big burly oval racers......especially when the movie Blade is on......and when they say "watch your feet" thats a sure sign to watch other stuff too....

and some people are still mesmerized by the internet...

and when your badmouthing another racer....make sure you get his name right......even if they have the same last name...

and by the way.....the theif that stole our table...as still not left the 20.00. and we are leaving at 6:00am, so anytime before that would be great

Once again, I say always ship your stuff.

Dont joke with airport secruity. I didn't myself but they annouced it over and over and over... (see also Meet the Parents)

This airplane has 4 emergency exits (not including the big one made on impact)

Your seat can be used as a flotation device (until the sharks come, then its a bobber)

I never want to hear anyone say "if your ears won't pop, just hold your nose and swallow" again...

I can make airport nachos in my microwave at home for about $7 cheaper....

Noise reduction head phones are worth every cent. I need some....

Pat likes to drink shakes that match his pink shirt....

Brian has like 4 more nicknames, but I can't remember them right now.

The OKC airport looks like our hotel in orlando, but with AC and planes...

There is nothing grand or plaza about the Orlando Grand Plaza...

I still don't know what happened to Thursday.....

Gabe wouldn't do a group hug when we split up in the airport. Can't figure out why not. Brian was all for it

"Hey lets go sit at the food court" LMAO

and finally....HOME!!!!!

Tomorrow I'll be ready for next year

Here's a pic of me accepting the C-Main 1st place plaque (Ohio Champs Race @ Platinum Hobbies) a few weeks back...Yes...C-main My first weekend with the RDX and only got one qualifier in. The car is dialed now and I'm alreayd 2-3 tenths faster than I was with the TC4.

If you want to post this one in my driver profile that's fine by me

I've been too busy working to do much on the car or to race lately. That should all change REAL soon. Oh...and David. Once you get that body I did for you mounted I want a pic buddy That one is rocking!

man, i had hot water every time i showered....

my thoughts and feelings on the birds....

sleep is way overated..., I was able to do ~50 hours on a 1.5 hr nap...

the absolute best time to practice is open practice @ 3 am... there is NO line to get out there then

if the car doenst work wed morning, you might as well end the trip early, it will only get worse

dont leave your table outside your room with nothing on it... it will be gone...

barry must be an oval natural, or its just tons easier than on road

the euro drivers had their shit together, and maybe we should look into using stick radios, lol

some people spend waaaay to much to get a body painted

gravity hill is the most addictive game ever... look out...

the worlds biggest mcdonalds has the worlds most expensive prices too

as mentioned above, hudy tools will last, so do their cars, i've seen their crash testing driver...

chris' 8 turn motors will run with ANYONE on the straight... and I do mean anyone

my highlight was during the club race when josh pulled over for me to pass...

overheard someone grumbling after jilles got thrown into the pool "if thats the cost of winning, i don't wanna win" man, that guy must be crazy... i'll be happy to get thrown in when i win... and yes, that is the right tense... i will win this damn race one day..

when shipping car stuff, put it in a sturdy box, not a soft suitcase....

hard side luggage is well worth the money....

airport scales are jacked up... or i have like a super power strip that weighs 4 lbs...

noise cancelling headphones arent for plane noise... but well worth the money...

people traveling with kids should have their own section on the flight, right by the pilots so we dont take our sweet time taxiing out and back to the terminal

did i mention chris can make some awesome HP? ask dave about my 19t motor

spektrums are very dialed... that whole no freq clip thing is awesome

"closeout sale room 2342"

patrick will risk his body to save a friends car, i saw it... took out half the field, but he did it anyway, good job pat

Todd and Matt's pitboards were the greatest thing in the pits... forget new cars, you gotta check these out...

always use your blinker when merging into the fast lane...

he who leaves with the most nicknames is the fastest

when getting off the plane in orlando "the safest part of your jurney is over" thats true when we found out how much road rage gabe has...

mini vans with electric doors are just bad... sounds like a good idea, but very, very bad...

i'm sure there is more than this... i would suggest coming next year to see it all first hand...

well, its break time from r/c for a while...

closeout sale now moved to the for sale section of rctech... check it out, cars, battery's, and power supply.. really need a break
