who says you cant run rubber in dallas? it would only push you to work your car over more to be closer to the foam guys..

Well, he can't run Paragon in Milwaukee either, so it's really of no consequence.

Wes - I've got some TQ Blue if you want it.

Man I feel like a dumped prom date....lol No one wants to dance with us Kansas guys....hehe

Hutch will be hosting a one day event in jan that is shaping up to be a good one. Plus there are plans to Host a ROAR superregional as well on the rug.

Hope to see some of you guys there.

Honestly, Jeff, the mandatory ROAR thing is a BIG drawback for alot of people. I know that in talking to a bunch of the locals here, most of them have said that they won't go up there because of the ROAR membership requirement for a club race.

I would really prefer to run in Hutch, as the bite is closer to what I'll be racing on in Milwaukee in a month, but... the ROAR thing is a factor. Also, Derek has to work on Sunday, early. We'll be back home from Dallas at about 10:30 or so, and we'd be back at 1:30 or 2:00 from Hutch which would prevent Derek from going.

I'll see you guys in January at the Blast.

I hate it that is the issue. We are stuck with it because of an incident that basically helped to close the old dirt track. There was a racer/marshall hit in the mouth and needed some dental work done. It was a big $$$ loss to the shop. The ROAR coverage allows the owner to open the doors on this new track. I join an attend several ROAR local and National events each year so it does not affect me but I understand it does other people.

Good luck in Dallas this weekend. I hear that is a great new facility. I like his website updates with pics of that nights races...went there a few times to run off road at their old place.

i agree..... a roar membership isnt something i use elsewhere right now, so until more roar races come to this area, i dont really want to join just to run at one track that is a helluva drive too.... no offense, but if you guys can get the races, i'm more likey to join...

I agree about the drive....we raced in tulsa about 10 different times at RCR...I got to know the money pit of the turnpike well. We have done our fair share of travel to run on road to say the least...lol Enid was our home track for 3 years...lol

lol... I like racing at ACR, but I like to run carpet and I like a little bit bigger track. We could run at Springfield's carpet track, but it's smaller than Adams Creek - tiny. So, for carpet, we're relegated to Dallas or Hutch.

I'm with Brian - if there were more ROAR races in the area for on-road (I know there are some offroad ROAR events regionally) I'd be more inclined to join, and then Hutch wouldn't be such an issue.

Sadly, in the litigation society in which we live, liability insurance is a necessity. I understand the shop's need to be covered, I won't begrudge them that.

I don't remember what I offered now LOL

I do have to say, you gotta get the roll away or bring your sleeping bag, Brian already called the bed. He's also pussing out of going to see Sandra Collins. So slap him a few times.
