Well put in another weekend of racing. Ran electric sprint at the Short Track Nationals at ACR in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I qualified 6th and came home 5th. Racing was a bit rough. I got punted quite a bit but kept on plugging along. I got worked near the first lap of the main and lost a lap quick on the small track. I worked myself back up to 4th catching 3rd to get worked once again and hung on the wall with no corner marshalls near by. In the process losing another lap. By then all I could do was try my best to make up what ground I could. I had to settle for 5th. Car ran great in main. I was running IB3800s on our wildcard 19t with our B brush. It was an open motor class but the track was slick there fore our 19t on 1.19 batteries was plenty of power and could keep up with and pass with ease.

For the winter season it looks like Competition RC in OKC will be running a wingless 19t sprint class on foams. I am hoping to main the season opener in early Nov running sprint and sedan.

Rock on, Billy. Way to take it to 'em.

Sorry I couldn't make it out on Saturday. Last minute family obligations got in the way. I'll catch you at Enid soon, though. You ARE racing at Enid at some point, right?

Got my cells and motor yesterday. The numbers look great and I can't wait to try 'em out this weekend or next. Forgot to order battery bars, though. I swear, I'd forget my head if it wasn't attatched.

At some point ill go to Enid. Its not real high on my list of places to go right now. Im hoping onroad goes well at Comp cause that is a very easy one day trip compared to 2.5 hours one way through speedtrap ville for enid.

Understand. I tell you, though, if ACR gets carpet, it's going to be hard to pry me away from there.

Well, it would be nice but I cannot afford big trips like that. After Steph and I get married... awhile away.. We will probably take a trip out there. She was born in Cali.

Pineboss... yeah I was gonna try chewing gum and a hair dryer but I figured it wouldn't hold.

Gum and a hair dryer? Sheesh, who are you? McGuyver?

Everyone knows a true Oklahoman would use duct tape.
