If anyone out there is on the fence about getting the AME servos, I would highly recommend them. I had the chance to do back to back runs with them, comparing the direct mount AME directly to my trusty futaba.

The direct mount gives the car a more direct feel to the steering over the floating mount, quite similiar to the way running a servo arm feels compared to a servo saver. I always have preferred the way a car felt with a servo arm on it, but just been way too much on a pansy to run it without a servo saver indoors, mainly because I hit things, alot, really hard. So being able to run a servo saver and still have a direct feel is a huge advantage for me.

now time to get them for the rest of my cars.

Thanks EA for bringing these into the states, they are pretty awesome and well worth the money.

The TX series motor was already fast. This one is going to be even faster I have a feeling from some of the info Ive received.

Will there be option rotors or do the TX rotors fit?

The TX rotors will not fit I do know that. I am sure there will be option rotors for the RX3 motors but when they are available I am unsure of.

Yes I would start there. The D4 is a little more resistant to temp and blowing up like the Killshot motors were known for.

Just got in a ton of ORCA stuff (Stilll no RX3 motors). All motors in stock, Super strong rotors, batteries, etc. RX3's are still a week away I am told. Will update as soon as the tracking number gives me an exact date!

Also all Gforce stuff will be back in stock by friday. Lots more of the parts trays, setup wheels, car stands and such will be here then.

All Team EAM Batteries are in route and should be here late next week.

D4 motors with 12.5HT rotors are in stock now too!

Leespeed has been restocked!

Large Hiro Seiko order coming in Monday!

Anyone going to the Southern Nats and wants to pick up something just LMK and I'll be glad to get you taken care of and deliver it at the track! The latest batch of VTA batteries will be there this year and be hot! Unmatched in performance by anything else Ive tested on my machines!

I assume this motor is rpm based like the r1 motor so you can't gear it the same as the tx. What endbell timing and fdr should be used as a starter?

J,

What motor are you using? I just found out that it wont work on a 21.5 and some 17.5's when you run them with lower timing or less than 9V. They have told me they are working on an update. It will work fine on all motors when you check timing plugged into a 12v power supply as they recommend. I didnt know this until just yesterday when they came back from vacation and answered some emails for me.
